Review 2：Within easy walking distance of the town, warm welcome and pleasant staff, clean rooms and public areas, comfy bed, spacious wc and comprehensive tasty breakfast. Everything you need in a hotel!

Review 16：As mentioned by many other reviewers - the owners and staff were so lovely and helpful. No problems with our late-night arrival and offered us early breakfast as we were travelling to Spa for Belgian Grand Prix. Very comfortable, warm and clean hotel and wifi worked great in our room. Nice town. We would recommend this hotel no problem!
Review 17：The hotel, especially the bar and breakfast room, seemed more like you would find in Bournemouth than the Black Forest. Very genteel, breakfast served from a trolley at your table, and mainly elderly guests during our stay. Not quite the traditional German ambience that we expected, but still very nice indeed.

The hotel is located just about mid-distance between the edge of town and the old town, few minutes walk to be in the historical centrum and less than a minute drive to be out in the National Park. Will definitely go again!

Hosts were friendly, plus there was car parking on site. It was snowing when we visited so probably more to do when the weather is better. We enjoyed our stay and did not see anywhere else we would have preferred.

Easy parking, especially when town was full for Xmas market No cars are allowed in the centre of Monschau. The hotel was 500m from the town. In December, the town is dead after 6pm and finding evening meals was not easy, except on Fridays and weekends when the market is running.

Review 73：Nice location in Monschau, just a nice 5-10 min walk into the centre of town. On site parking next to the building was perfect. Nice sized room, with the most comfortable bed and duvet I have ever experienced! Quiet at night, black out curtains worked an absolute treat. The lady who runs the hotel with her husband is very nice, polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was clear that she took pride in her hotel, cared for her guests and the service was very personal. Breakfast offered a good choice and also included at-the-table-trolly-service for coffee, cheese & meats and any type of eggs you may like. A really pleasant and nice surprise. I would definitely stay there again and Monschau is a very pretty town. Seen in the October, the leaves were in full blown Autumn colour change and it was stunning.

Breakfast service saved the usual battle of the breakfast buffet which seems to be the norm in europe theses days. Review 79：Access to the hotel was good (we were on a touring holiday by car) - Monschau is a very busy historic town with very narrow streets. The center of town was a very easy stroll from the hotel. The almost "old fashioned" nature of the hotel made it feel very comfortable and welcoming even although we stayed for only one night.
