Review 1：The location was lovely, right on the river and only a very short walk to the old town and across the bridge to the christmas market. The room was spacious and modern and had a lovely view down the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would love to return.

Review 2：Having breakfast in a building that sits in the middle or a river with water all around. Their own bakery with fresh rolls delivered at breakfast in a brown paper bag. Very good food at reasonable prices. Modern minimalist bedroom. Very pleasant staff. Great location.

Review 3：Hotel did not take Amex. Television was an Imac and would not turn off with remote so I needed to unplug. Room was so hot I had to open a window in December even after turning off heaters.

Review 7：Curiously modern decor in Old Town Bamberg.....but, it works. Our room (212) had windows that looked up and down the river. The room was clean and well appointed. Wifi is available via a German hotspot and was pretty reliable during our stay. The hotel can be a bit difficult to locate (complicated by road construction during our stay). Parking is available in a municipal car park about 6 minutes walk. Breakfast, not included in our rate, was served a la carte at an adjoining restaurant, Eckarts. Service by a disinterested waitress was slow. Front desk service ran the gamut of (mostly) cool indifference to friendly.

Review 12：No air conditioning in the midst of a heat wave made the room uncomfortable at night -- fan was provided but didn't do much -- of course, this is just the way it is in Germany, not the hotel's fault. I also thought the bike rentals (10 euros per day per person) were a little overpriced.

Review 21：We were delighted with this hotel, which is located right on the river in Bamberg, with a view of the old Rathaus. There is a very good restaurant on site. The rooms are a generous size and well appointed. The TV is a Macintosh computer, very cool.

Review 25：The hotel was in a great location in Old Town Bamberg Germany. It is situated right on the river which we could view from out beautiful room. It was easy to park the car. The bar area was great with plenty of outside space for dining. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Review 27：We loved our stay at Hotel Nepomuk. We decided to stay a night in Bamberg to break up our Trip from Gutersloh down to Ruhpolding. We stayed in a Suite which was fantastic. Wonderful having a spa bath and gorgoeus fluffy dressing gowns. Food and wine fantastic too! The staff are all very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked another night there on our way back from Ruhpolding.

Review 31：The bedroom was far too hot and couldn't be cooled except by a fan. This made sleeping difficult. We would also have preferred a breakfast buffet rather than menu.

Review 35：The breakfast - not included in the price - was surprisingly disappointing, given the standard of the hotel: the egg was hardly cooked, the so-called muesli was a mix of cheap children's breakfast cereal, and the tea tasteless. I complained twice, and though the staff assured me they would pass on the complaint, it didn't occur to them to take it off the final bill.

Review 39：Although not too much of an issue, be aware that to access the hotel by car means driving down a very narrow cul-de-sac. Cars then have to be parked in a nearby public car park; the entrance to which is also quite tight. Breakfast was taken in the hotel café where everything is ordered separately from a menu and can work out quite pricey, e.g. you have to order a bag of three rolls, which for one person is far too much

Review 45：The simple high quality design with most probably one of the best locations in Bamberg made for a perfect place for strolling around this fairy tale medieval German jewel of a town.Breakfast was charmingly served and delicious on one of the many terraces overlooking the river and town. We rather regretted eating elsewhere as the food here seemed so good the terraces such a delight!

Review 48：The room was very small, like a cage, full with dust, but lacking AC. It was heat wave there, and the room felt like a sauna. The staff was unfriendly, most of the time there was nobody at front desk. This hotel has valet parking, but our car was in front of the hotel for an hour. When we asked when our car would be parked, the answer was, "when we have time". Nevertheless, the price for this hotel is equal to 5-star one in Leipzig!

Review 50：Parking at €15 expensive. No air-con in our room meant open windows, a noisy fan plus the (normally relaxing) sound of the river/canal made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep.
