Review 1：Parking was more difficult that expected. The nearest parking hall was full. Took a while to find a one with space.

Review 3：Room was dirty with cracks in the walls, tiles missing in bathroom and staff then charged us extra for our room that had already been charged in full.

Review 9：The bed was uncomfortable and the facilities were loud at night due to their karaoke bar and a large electrical panel outside our door. It took a very long time to check out as they completed all the paper work manually. The key locking mechanism for the doors are outdated and inconvenient. Lastly, the water pressure and temperature varied greatly while showering.

Review 13：Despite several bad review I have to say the hotel is much better than expectet Probably not a real 4 stars however been upgraded to a bit suite at the last floor (6th). Karaoke ok for couple of drinks. Could hear a bit of music on Saturday night but not much. Cannot comment breakfast and restaurant as we didn't use.

Review 38：I it was hard to sleep and rest from the the loud karaoke music playing loud in the building. The loud music continued even after I called the front the desk once to let them know about the noise. The karaoke noise continued the next night and when I tried calling the front desk, there was no one there. So much for help and service. I will never stay there ever again and I suggest that if anyone wants to stay in a decent and comfortable place, this is the last hotel I would recommend in Cologne.

Review 40：I didn't appreciate the small room and bathroom I was put in as this was maybe the third or fourth time I have stayed with this hotel. Other places I stay I get an upgrade with a revisit .. I will not be back again. I also did not like the breakfast being moved in the restuarant downstairs and was no longer included in the price.

Review 41：Very very very noisy ! There is a karaoke on the first floor as loud as if it was inside the room. Accessing the room requires to ask the karaoke security guard. Drunk people tried to enter our room ... To sum up, the place must be great if you want to party. Otherwise, this is probably not the right place ...

Review 55：The rooms are small and smell of cigarette smoke. We were shown 2 rooms1 at the front and 1 at the rear the rear rooms are not worthconsidering as they have a very poor outlook. The rooms are also verytired and need upgrading particularly the floors. We had a total of 3coathangers between two of us and although they had a mini bar fridge itwas poorly stocked and did not work. The reception and restaurant sharethe same room and are confusingly on the 2nd floor above street levelwithout any clear indication of their whereabouts on arrival.

Review 57：To be fair and honest to fellow travellers, Its a 2 star hotel. The 4 star status is an over rating.Our room was stuffy and had a horrible sterile smell. The fridge was not working the whole 4 nights we were there. The wooden floor was old and unpolished. There was fluff under the bed, clearly not well cleaned. It was very noisy unless you closed the window (making the room very hot and stuffy). Between 19:30 to 22:00 hrs you get the loud noise from the Karaoke singers, and between 22:00 to 3:30am its the club/party goers and drunkards roaming the streets and speaking, singing, shouting,laughing loudly. After 4am it was pleasantly silent. We could open the windows and breath the lovely fresh air that the tree canopy on our level provided us. Unless, of course our neighbours decided to have a smoke on the shared balcony, then that air was dispersed with cigarette smell,making us passive smokers in our sleep.The second day we just tried to join the fun and go to the Karaoke bar run by the hotel. The atmosphere was lively. But this also didn't work out for us either. The bar tender was extremely rude. He rudely told us he didn't understand English, and literally walked away and ignoring us completely. So much for someone who was of German origin. We had to wait for his busy colleague to serve us. The colleague told him our order, but the lad was reluctant to serve us. For an international hotel that offers such entertainment, it was unacceptable and surprising. We felt unwelcome because it took a long time before our wine was served. We had to leave after our first drinks. This bar tender definitely needs professional training in proper hospitality. The receptionist was unprofessionally over friendly - acceptable but a bit on the annoying side with trying so had on questions that seemed too personal to us.The hotel is inflexible.

Review 59：I made a reservation for three people and was guested in a tiny twopeople room with a terrible mattress.The staff said I lost the reservation because of credit card problems (online). Nevertheless, at the hotel the credit card had absolutely no problems. They charged the full reservation (three people) for the room for just 2 people. The next day we were moved to a room for three people, but it wasn't much better, and would not appropriately fit three people. Besides, the bathroom floor was very wet. Location is excellent. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend the Hotel.

Review 61：Internet wasnt working during the whole weekend. Not big of a deal sincewe wanted to view the city. Would have been nice to check some emails inthe evening though. For a business trip that wouldnt be nice I guess.Be aware that they have a karaoke bar in the building and on saturday i woke up a couple of times since it was quite loud. on sunday there wasnt any noise. My guess is that on friday night there will be also noise. Internet hat fuer das gesamte Wochenende nicht funktioniert. Zum Hotel gehoert auch eine Karaoke Bar und am Samstag war es sehr laut, so das ich mehremals aufgewacht bin. Sonntag war das kein Problem. Sollte jemand einen unruhen schlaf haben kann man in diesem Hotel Freitags und Samstag nicht uebernachten.
