Review 1:the receptionist was very rude and a liar. she claimed that I didn't have a reservation and my booking was wrong even though I showed the email sent by booking.com and that the hotel was completely full. In fact it was nearly empty. why did she behave like that I really don't know.

Review 3:The reception is open only until 21h, but they can leave you the keys in a safe box outside. The working hours are not indicated anywhere so we didn't know where to leave the keys as we were leaving our rooms at 10:50 on a Sunday morning. Once you close the back door of the hotel behind you there's noone to turn to if you need anything or if you forget something in the room for example. We were given the internet access code, but the Wi-fi connection was non-existant and you cannot call anyone for assistance because there's no-one at the reception! I've stayed in this hotel before, but it is getting worse as the time passes. The elevator was not working and my sister and I had to carry our suitcases upstairs - and one of the reasons we chose this hotel was that it had an elevator... Sorry, but this was certainly my last staying at this hotel unless something changes!

Review 7:Very close to the train station. Lovely friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean, large room with a comfortable bed. Lots of hot water with good water pressure. Lovely breakfast.

Review 8:It was a tiny room and bore no resemblance to the picture onBooking.com.We were there in a heat wave and the room was out to thefront. We simply had to open the windows as there was no airconditioning . The noise actually kept us from sleeping. If one reallyhas to stay in this hotel ask for and insist on a room to the back andask for a big room of which they have some. We were dissappointed to saythe least. Outside decor non existent. It looked seriously run down withbig potential to a discerning owner.

Review 9:The location as in closeness to the station. But it was by a mainshopping street. Breakfast was ok but had the bare minimum, cheap'Aufschnitt' (meats and cheese) and the eggs kept running out.Only (hard!) boiled available.Staff stoically tried to cope and gave usnice smiles in the face of adversity.

Review 10:Intermittent Wi Fi, no phones in room, located in a room facing traffic, very basic and functional for a €100/night price tag! Picture on website was not exactly a fairly accurate reflection of reality.

Review 11:Staff were helpful, especially Rose and they kindly allowed us an extra hour after checkout, room was clean and location was very handy. There was a bit of variety in breakfast.

Review 12:The reception was not open until 7am. It was difficult to organise an early check out. Receptionist did not speak a single word of English or French or Spanish .

Review 14:- no telephone in the hotel rooms (the owners point of view is, that each guest has his own cell phone), my Canadian phone did not work in Rosenheim; - the hotel-owned restaurant mentioned in the brief description is closed up; - no shower curtain, main light in the room did not work; - very limited parking space;

Review 15:The receptionist was helpful within her limits sett by the owner of the 'Goldener Hirsch'.

Review 16:We also stayed two nights on September 26 and 27. Impossible to connect any of our two computers in the room. The person in charge of the reception did not seem to be concerned (even though, I admit, she probably could not have done anything about it). The cleaning of the bathroom was incomplete. The main entrance and reception was closed on Saturday 27 at 18h00. No warning had been given and, therefore, no assistance or information of any kind could be asked for. The lady in charge of breakfast on Sunday 28 September was particularly efficient and friendly.

Review 17:Location.

Review 18:Very rude reception on arrival even though we arrived before 9pm and had called to warn this well before 6pm. Our booking had clearly stated free parking and no need to reserve. Parking only fitted 4-5 cars and was full so we had to use pay parking. When we showed the receptionist this first she said it was because we were late, then simply ignored us when we showed her the paper. My partener got annoyed, due to her ignoring us, after which she was very rude and clearly wanted to leave for a prior appointment. Even though it states clearly on our booking form that there is wifi available in all the hotel, I asked her about wifi and she said it was available in the room. There was no wifi at all in the room and later I was told by other guests that they had no wifi either in their rooms - it was only available in the reception area which is locked after 9pm so had to stand in the dingy stairwell. The room was not the elegant room they described, it was overly basic with peeling painted wallpaper and the bathroom was borderline. No shower curtain meant that even the most carefully taken shower totally flooded the floor.

Review 19:When we finally spoke to the manager and wanted to cancel our second night he agreed without any discussion. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

Review 36:We could not have breakfast, though charged for it. We arrived at 18.30 and announced we will leave early. Nothing could be prepared as takeaway, but the receptionist assured us that there will be someone at 7 o'clock and we could get something quick. Surprisingly, nothing could be prepared sooner than 7.30, which would have been too late for us, not even coffee or yoghurt. No one was willing to discuss the reimbursement of the cost, incredibly unprofessionable way of earning money from tourists.

Review 39:Good location close to railway station. I asked for and was given aquiet room at the rear of the hotel. Comfortable bed, clean room,large bathroom. I stayed for only one night and had to leave early thenext day so was unable to have a breakfast. Although breakfast wasincluded in the room rate I was given a small refund, which I thoughtwas very fair.
