Review 1：The WiFi was not free, and after we paid for it, it was not working at all.. So the reception refunded us the money.
Review 2：The location was great, very closed to the station, and Christmas market.
Review 3：My only complaint is the room comfort. They could use a comfortable chair and a larger TV located lower and with some English channels.

Review 12：Payed allot for a minimal quantity. Tiny TV,garbage network which is also overpriced ( less than 54kbps and router or access points that disconnect after 2 minutes) , little to no desirable breakfast, pretty musky and quite old.

Review 14：Very friendly and efficient staff. The morning after checking in I discovered a minor problem, this was rectified immediately and without fuss. The hotel is ideally located for the sites of the old town, Dom and Rhine; with many bars and restaurants nearby.
Review 15：tiny and basic room (but clean) with outdated furniture. wi-fi is extra but Cologne city has free wi-fi in the city centre so no need to pay (which they inform you during check-in). don't expect too much, basic comfort. it is humble place like a family business.

Review 30：Not really a negative but just to let other readers know like many hotels in Europe there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel does offer tea/coffee for a charge but we always take a travel kettle with us so not a problem.
Review 31：Perfect location for visiting all the Christmas markets (adult kids could see the entrance to one market from their window) Hotel is clean, staff friendly and continental breakfast included in room price (breads, cheese, ham, warm boiled eggs, fresh fruit and some cereals, plus tea/coffee) Have seen some comments about noise but we had a second floor room at the back which was quiet and the kids had a 2nd floor room over a side street and didn't have an issue with any noise. Short walk from main train central (5 - 10 mins) - Tip if geting the train from the airport avoid the ICE trains and wait for a stopping training as ICE train total one-way for 4 adults 32 Euros and on standard train 11 Euros and time is the same between 11-15 minutes. We would stay here again.

Review 33：The Hotel is near the station, and for the people who wants to visit Koln during winter, really near from the Old Christmas's Market. The service was excellent.
Review 34：This hotel should be rated at most two stars. I stayed on the fourth floor and the lift only takes you to the third, which is a struggle with suitcases. When I arrived in my room, the TV did not work. I picked up the phone to call the desk and the phone did not work. As I didn't want to go back down considering the elevator situation, I just left it. There were no wifi instructions in the room either, nor did the front desk inform me when I checked in that I would need to get this from them downstairs. Due to a popular business conference being in town, I paid 450 EUR a night for the privelage of this staying there. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to a business for family traveler and would consider it to be more a hostel.

Having had a hotel confirmation to our request it was sad to find on our arrival that our room had been afforded to someone else. Some rooms are extremely small and should be reduced in cost. This is a basic hotel with basic facilities. Clean but drab.

Review 74：I stayed 2 nights and the room was never clean. The trash of my first day was there all the time, the bed wasn't done and I only had one hand towel for all purposes. As I was out almost all day, for the time I complained, I had to go already. As the city center is downstairs, the nights are really loud at least until 3AM. The room was so small that I couldn't fit in the bathroom. It's no joke. For all before mentioned, I had to pay more than 1.000 EUR the night because there was a big expo in the city.

Review 80：Just small points, only one pillow and no spare balnket. It was very cold outside and we had travelled for ages and it might have felt a bit more comfortable with extra blanket. Towels changed every day which was a good point but they were quite old and hard.

I stayed during a trade fair so expected to pay more but withtaxes I paid 110euro per night and it was only worth 60euro maximum.
