Review 1：Too small room for two persons. Quite noisy. Not a problem when there is not many people neighbouring. Room locker using is not for free: each locker closing costs 1 euro!! We used it twice, so we paid plus 2 euros just for the locker. It is ridiculous! It would be good to include this into the room price. It would be good also to exclude this as a "free" option from Booking.com as it is not true.

Review 3：The staff was extremely unfriendly. The hotel is in need of renovation. There was mildew in the shower. If you are taller than 1.80m you may be uncomfortable here, the doors and the ceilings are quite low.

Review 5：Our room was the one with the small bathroom across the landing (The wife not so happy about that). We did get a very low rate for our room so I suppose understandable. A word of warning for those driving and wanting parking. Space is limited, it is down the alley way into the small court yard at the side of the building and is tight to turn round in (Staff do guide you through). 4X4 ? Might struggle getting through the gate! (Secure at night).
Review 6：Wonderful old building right in the centre of town worth stooping in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a couple of beers (Dark beer for me Weissbiers for the wife) before exploring the old town. Breakfast choice not extensive but nice.
Review 7：We were very disappointed with the room which had an external bathroom on a Private corridor but in fact was right next door to an occupied bedroom, Not very private. Access to the rooms was up a very steep curving stairway which you had to be quite fit to access the bedrooms. It was impossible to access WI-FI in our bedroom in fact the only place we could access internet was in the dining room which closed about 9pm. There was no information on meal times or about fire procedures and no fire alarm in the room or corridor.
Review 8：this hotel was central in the town. Breakfast was the usual continental style. Staff were helpful and able to speak English. As we did not have any cooked food in the restaurant we cannot give a rating on this.
Review 9：No serious debit points, but floors do creak (inevitable in old building), which can disturb sleep in the early morning, and I wasn't offered coffee at the end of dinner on my first evening as it appeared that they wished to close the restaurant for the night.
Review 10：Hotel is excellently situated in the centre of the city (close to the Town Hall) and has a lot of old world character and charm. Friendly and efficient staff with good meals.
Review 11：We would give the person who checked us in a 4-star rating. When she found our we had an early morning flight, she arranged for a bowl of fruit to be delivered to our room early the next morning. We really appreciated it!

Review 33：Language difficulties, do not accept any uk credit cards so I had towithdraw cash to pay. The room (22) was in a door marked private and upsome very steep narrow stairs - not recommended for the elderley.Terrible parking facilities.

Review 36：No separate reception, you have to check-in and out in the restaurant. No free choice for seating during the breakfast, you're told which is your place. Difficult to park the car and during the first night I didn't get a parking spot inside the hotel's premises as they don't guarantee parking spots in advance.
Review 37：The location of the hotel is excellent, it's situated close to the city center (historic City Hall 2-3 minutes walk, main square ca. 15-20 minutes walk). The staff is nice and helpful. The restaurant is good. There's wi-fi in the hotel with good bandwith, though you have to register with the hotspot-provider to gain access.
Review 38：The location is perfect for a walk in a beautiful city. The building nice, old but well kept, authentic, typical for Lueneburg. The staff is very kind, they serve excellent breakfast and lunch at the restaurant.
Review 39：One older lady who checked us in was expecting 2 people for 2 rooms - when actually needed 2 rooms for 4 people. She was upset over our needs, assigned us to the less desirable rooms...the maid who cleaned our rooms told us there were better rooms available. We were assigned a room with a bathroom in the hallway.
