Review 1：Only issue was construction adjacent to the Hotel. But, this should be short lived.

Review 4：From checking in the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was spotleessly clean and you could not have wished for more in the room. Furniture, beds and bathroom excellent. Parking right outside the door. Breakfast also very good.

Review 10：Freudenstadt is rather a plain and ordinary town, the road to the hotel can easily be missed or mistaken for a pedestrianised area.

Review 11：In the centre of the little town of Freudenstadt this hotel is a great place to stop for one night or a few nights. The proprietor is friendly and always willing to help with questions. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant is very good. I recommend you make use of the restaurant as the food quality is as good as you will find. There is parking at the hotel so no need to worry about your car.

Review 12：Hotel centrally located in Freudenstadt. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Adequate breakfast. Excellent evening meal in restaurant (twice). Easy parking. Free public transport throughout the Black Forest is a bonus with the tourist card that the hotel gives you. Happy to recommend this hotel and we will stay again.

Review 13：There was no orange juice for breakfast - only some "multi-fruit" juice. Also strangely no ham - they have several kinds of "wurst" but no ham - that's extremely unusual in Germany. But otherwise there was everything you need for your breakfast, cereals, eggs, cheese, fresh fruit....

Review 14：My single room was very comfortable and "complete" - with desk, small table, armchair with a nice lamp for reading; everything very clean including the bathroom. The location is perfect if you are planning to use the train - less than 3min from the Stadt Bf and less than 5min from the Marktplatz, but still very quiet. The hotel also has a good restaurant where you can have a nice dinner.

Review 16：Every things were exccellent.. the location is just a minute walk from station marketplatz. The stuff are so helpfull and freindly. The hotel offers the black forrest pass instead of getting it from tourist center. The food were remarkebly exccellent and service were great.

Review 20：Good location close to rail station. Hotel provides a free card giving free public transport through the area so once the car is parked in the hotels car park then no further need of it. The restaurant provides excellent well priced food and the staff are really friendly and helpful as well as helping us out by speaking english.

Review 21：Friendly, helpful owners. Clean, fresh, good facilities. Excellent food and breakfast. Used this hotel before as a stop over riding through to Austria and Italy. Will stay again, maybe for longer next time.

Review 24：Owners were most accommodating. Choice on the Dinner and Lunch menue were great. Breakfast was a treat. Had to stay a second night at short notice due to the car problem. the owner held a room for us until we were sure we had to stay another night as the garage could not fix the car and had to order a spare part. This is now 5pm and he had only 2 rooms left, which he sold, one to us and one to another couple. He could have easily have said no in order not to sit on an empty room. Very helpful indeed.

Review 25：a full 10 out of 10 for my stay everything was excellent .the location was very good one minute to the centre and the railway station .the owners could not have been more helpful a pity I could only stay one night .

Review 52：The town was incredibly quiet on the night we stayed (Wed. 28 May, 2014)and it was hard to find restaurants for dinner. Unfortunately out visitcoincided with the regular closing day of the Adler's ownrestaurant.

Review 53：The hotel has a great location between the city railway station and thetown square. We found the room very comfortable, thought the bathroomwas rather small. The LED-lit shower was cool. A private balcony addedto the experience.The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great to see such a personal touch. An added bonus is that guests receive a KONUS card tha is good for all public transportation in the Black Forest, from Karlsruhe to Basel, so anyone booking travel in advance should consider this to avoid buying redundant tickets. We were travelling to Strasbourg so just had to buy a ticket from Kehl (border station) to Strasbourg and so saved at least €50 (for two) on the trip to Kehl.

Review 54：Stayed here for 7 nights in May.The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to the station and the market square. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant is very popular and busy at both lunchtimes and in the evening with good reason. Would love to return and recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit the Black forest.

Review 56：Excellent location close to DB Bahn Statd station. We were given maps and told of good walks in the area. The Hotel restaurant has very good food. Will definitely stay there again if in the area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Review 65：Curtains were too thin and did not stop the daylight from coming into the room at 0540 hrs in the morning... I would have slept longer otherwise, because the bed was very comfortable. Basic breakfast.
