Review 1：Restaurant is just excelent, location is very convenient - in a very quite place, old town is five minutes away by foot. The room is rather basic but very clean, quite, the bed is very comfortable.

Review 2：Not the most comfortable of beds. We booked a twin room but my friend was in a tiny room with the bathroom between us. It was very hot and she didn't sleep well. Don't take credit cards which I didn't realise when I booked it! Mystery menu put us off eating there for dinner and €7.70 for two lemonades was steep....

Review 3：Loved the traditional feel, location and staff very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi brilliant bonus. Spotlessly clean and the shower was fantastic!

Review 4：Small rooms and hard beds. The free parking outside the hotel is on the street and it is actually free, but between 10-15 a clock its only 2 hours parking. Basicly you have to park somwhere else if you gonna stay for more than one night. Its cheap, but not really worth the money. Compare it more with a motel.

Review 11：Karin is the most welcoming, warm & friendly hostess you could ever meet. The rooms were a fantastic size, they were clean & cleaned daily with fresh towels. There were tea & coffee making facilities, cable tv, large bathroom with toiletries provided. The breakfast was buffet style with everything & more to suit anyone's requirements. There was so much choice!!! We will definitely be returning next year!!!

Review 12：Really liked the warmth of this small hotel - lovely welcome when we arrived which continued with constant friendliness throughout our stay. Loads of choice for breakfast and the restaurant in the evening is a must - gorgeous food. A genuine German experience and couldn't recommend it enough - just a 5 min walk from the town

Review 14：This wonderful family hotel is situated only 600 metres from the railway station ( 10 minutes slow walk) and even closer to the beautiful old town of Celle. All of the staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfast buffet has a wide choice and is good value for money. Definitely a place I would recommend .

Review 15：Floor creaked every time you moved at all & was very uneven. Booked this room online with a credit card. Went to check out Saturday & they wanted euros only despite having a credit card terminal there. Had to try to find a currency exchange but no banks were open on Sat. Returned over an hour later - they took my Visa card, returned my passport & apologized. Hope it's not on my card twice when I get back :-(

Review 17：My single room was so tiny! It felt like a box. Especially the bathroom. The thing is everything had a place and was well organised. The biggest issue was noise. Being on a shared balcony meant that other guests were traversing past my room. Then my door was the only window and I had to keep my curtains closed much of the time. Being over the kitchen meant noise sometimes over night.

Review 22：We loved the bedroom and huge en suite bathroom with power shower. I loved the fresh green colour scheme and little floral touches around the hotel. We loved the food especially the 3 course surprise menu (included Swedish moose). The garden was very pretty, the staff were very attentive. The breakfast was a massive assortment of choice including 12 different fruit juices, smoked salmon, eggs, fresh rolls and fruit...wow). A pleasant 10 minute walk to the edge of Celle town. The bar and restaurant were beamed and typical old German style, very nice. I would definitely recommend Schifferkrug Hotel.
