Review 1：No lift inside, so warm breakfast

Review 2：Nice place, close to train station and Mainz center - we could reach everything we need in 10-20 min on foot. The rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast are full and served from 6 a.m. which is really nice I liked the guys over the desk - they are extremely friendly :)

Review 3：Don't leave your key with the nightstaff. He left our key in the lobby open for anyone to take (front door wide open) and left for 20 min. Didn't seem to understand we didn't think that was safe and did not apologize. Unfriendly and arrogant. Except that and another member who was annoyed when we asked for fresh towels, the other staff is extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Also, tell them directly how you would like to pay. They charged my credit card without consulting me first...

Review 19：Germany winning the World Cup on our first night - clearly not the hotel's fault - but only because carhorns were being sounded well into the early hours! Suspect that won't happen again for at least another four years, so no worries there!

No air-conditioning but despite day temperatures 27 degrees C in shade (about 80 degrees F, for us oldsters) and above 20 through the night the room did not become uncomfortable. Nice walk downhill into town. Takes 20 minutes to centre at a steady pace.

Whichis not the fault of the hotel, I was just warm in my room and would haveloved to know it was there!No elevator, so the trip up to the 3rd floor (4th floor in American counting) was annoying if I forgot anything up in the room!

Review 88：However despite booking a nonsmoking room this is what I was given on the first night. The room was a big double room with a large bathroom, lots of soap packets and a magnifying mirror. The room had a fridge which could hold 2 bottles. When I transferred to the single room the fridge had reduced in size, there were no soaps, no magnifying mirror and the glass I had used the night before had not been replaced with a clean one.
