Review 1：Basic atmosphere of the breakfast area. Hotel personnel could not point us towards the hiking trail, while the hotel turned out to be right on top of the trail. (something I would expect the staff to know)

Review 2：The hotel is on the trail of Hermannhöhe. Ideal place to stay when you are hiking.

Review 3：The beds. You can feel the springs when you lie on your side. Left you with a sore hip. A thin bedmadrass on top would solve the problem.Also the pillows were very flat.

Review 9：Location in very nice part of Bielefeld, within a wood but only 8 minutes in taxi from centre and train station. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Food - fairly basic menu but all superb, home cooked and very fresh. Something for everyone. Rooms very tasteful decor and very clean. Well stocked bar. Very pleasant quiet setting. Lovely old building, extremely comfortable atmosphere in the bar and restaurant.

Review 12：Unless you enjoy walking in high heels miles from the town centre you will like the location as it's in the midst of the forest being great for walkers but we didn't expect the location to be a taxi ride away from all the restaurants, bars and shopping. Wasn't impressed. Not much information either from the staff and the bar closed at 10pm.

Review 13：We booked because of a quiet location but the hotel was hosting a partyon Friday evening. Very loud music and people shouting until 02:30 inthe morning. Could not sleep which made the next days drive of 800 kmvery difficult. This spoiled a god hotel and we are very concerned aboutspending another night there on the return journey.

Review 47：As with most establishments we frequented during our stay, access forpeople with disabilities doesn't seem to be a priority. My wife hasdifficulty using steps, and I didn't once come across a wheelchairramp, anywhere!. That said, access to the hotel was was via 4 or 5 highsteps & the room was accessible using the very small lift so itwasn't overly inconvenient. It would also help if the proprietorsprovided better instructions when booking for parking (if you take avehicle) as it can be a little confusing without prior knowledge.
