Review 2：Very traditional...almost fairytale setting within the Altstadt. After a long day on the road, met by cheery staff and informed that we had been up graded to a junior suite! The view from the room was stunning and every comfort was available to us. Great cocktails in the piano bar! A very wide choice for a sumptuous breakfast. A memorable stay.

Review 11：Great hotel! The location is superb, the staff equals to a 4* superior hotel, rooms are nice and big in size and have all you require for your stay. The location on the river is just overwhelming. You cross the bridge and you're in the ancient centre of Lüneburg. For sure the team who is running this hotel is focusing on the value for the guest. Breakfast offered a big choice and variety.

Review 12：Reception: I was offered 3 invoices, each time adding another component which in the end left me baffled as I had no idea what i was paying for anymore. I was also confused with another guest, which added to my dismay. Breakfast room: The breakfast area is far too small for the amount of guests, and we had to line up numerously which is unacceptable for this category hotel. Inside pool: Definitely not 29 degrees, more like 15! It is very small with only 3 loungers. Very little or no information available about Lüneburg as a toursit destination!

Review 13：The location is superb, and the building with the old mill is pretty and interesting. The quality of food at breakfast was really good.

Review 14：The restaurant has lovely food,but we sat waiting to order drinks for 15 minutes,and for our dinner: 1 Hour and 15 minutes(!!). That´s almost schooking and kinda ruined a little of the atmosphere that evening. The wifi needs to be password free. You have to logg yourself in every time you let your phone down, it´s tiering.. :( In this kind of hotel a mini bar is expected to be in the room - but it´s not.

All the facilities one could want and reasonably priced and then, there's Luneburg itself which is a fascinating and delightful small city. Restaurants everywhere to choose from although the hotel has four as well. The staff are excellent and very helpful and politely friendly.

Also the marina cafe's food was super expensive, but food quality and taste was average or below average. I wouldn't say these two things should stop anyone from staying here though. Everything else was pretty great.

Parking is not the best, but they are constrained by liited space in an old part of town. I recommend the remote space (10 spaces) across the main street.

Review 48：A very pleasant surprise- given the reasonable price, I was expecting a lot less. What I found was a charming old place which had been thoroughly updated with all the modern conveniences. The niews from my room were quaint and unusual, but very pleasing. The sound of the water running through the old mill sluice at night was very soothing. I'd go again.

Review 51：The air conditioning was poor in the room and the heat in the room wasunnatural making it very difficult to sleep (even with the windows andair condition unit on all night). The hotel is made up of severalbuildings and the room I was in was on the third floor with no lifts. Infairness to the porter he carried my bags to the room for me but it wasa fair climb every day up and down the stairs, not for the weak hearted.The restaurant food was poor and they werent willing at first to seat usas we hadn't made a reservation even though it was empty at the time.
