Review 1：This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly and very professional. Location is the best in town, next to the water and train station. Rooms were really roomy and nice. Breakfast was excellent.

Review 2：I booked a room with a courtyard view but when I saw the room I realized that I could only see the wall of the other side of the hotel with drain pipes from the opposite building. The "View" was only 2 meters away! I called the reception and they asked me to come back to the reception. I am not sure why they started arguing about the fact that those 2 meters were the courtyard when I know there is also a big square out there and also that the view means that the room has a window to look outside even though all we can see is the wall 2 meters away. They also were adamant that this was the cheapest room and wanted to know if I can afford a view which btw was only 20€ extra. I know that I booked the cheapest room and if it would have stated "No View" I would have booked a better room. Also, even though I am booking the cheapest room doesn't mean that I need to be treated as a sub-standard guest the room still costs €200 per night and another €20 is not a big deal for anyone who can afford the former. I have learned to not expect the best service in Bayern specially in restaurants or hotels which are for rich old people but I expect to be treated with respect.

Review 13：We arrived into this hotel after a dreadful 13 car journey knowing that the restaurant would be closed and the night staff on. In the end we were greeted by Sasha who was the most helpful person you could wish for. He had the kitchens make up sandwiches and insisted that we went away and ate something before worrying about checking in. Fabulous customer service. The hotel itself is stunning with our harbour view room an utter joy. The view over the lake with the harbour and ferries in front was perfect. We will be back..!

Review 25：There is a sense of occasion when you come to the Bayerischer Hof, a charm that immediately takes you in. The location (apart from the train station) is great, lovely views of the lake and it's fantastic to walk around the island. All in all, a great place to be.

Review 28：The hotel emphasizes way too much on luxury. Accordingly, the clientel and even some restaurant employees look at a "backpacker" as if he doesn't belong there and should be thrown out. It's sad to see such people who limit themselves at the length of their wallet.

Review 31：Lindau am Bodensee, July 3rd 2014 Dear Mr. Stolze good morning! I decided to spend one night in Lindau to relax myself during my day off. I checked-in few minutes ago and the first impression, honestly speaking, has not been one of the best. When I arrived to the Hotel one of the receptionist (he didn't have any written name) with which I checked in, the first thing he asked me was a credit card to guarantee.........I am as in the hotel business as well and for a 5 stars hotel I would have expected a different "welcome". I made a reservation through booking.com and I reserved a double room for single use with lake view and in the comments I wrote in german language:- "Bitte, die Kreditkarte von der Firma nicht belasten oder keine Autorisierung anfragen, da Ich bar oder mit Maestro Karte zahlen will'. The first thing who the receptionist asked me when I entered to the Hotel was to pay the room in advance (as if I were a thief or a cheater) because the hotel tried to ask an authorization on the company creditcard.....Oh my God!! After that I asked where the steam room was located and the same receptionist told me that at the moment is switched off cause the warm wheater. Last but not least, I asked (by paying) for a late check-out until 15.00 and the same receptionist told me you are already fully booked. It's a little bit strange. I checked right now on booking.com and in other hotel reservation website and you have still availability.........(stop making fun of me!!!).Is this a 5 stars Hotel or what? The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very minor criticism was that there were no menu details readily available other than the fixed price which was too elaborate for our palates at that time. Many restaurants in town though. A most enjoyable three night stay and would recommend hotel.

We stayed at your hotel previoustimes before and are allways impressed by to superb quality that yourhouse offers. From crisp, fresh smelling bedsheets to the cleanliness inthe bathroom and throughout the room. Also I managed to leave my balconydoor overlooking the swimming pool open and after 10pm there was not theslightest sound to disrupt my sleep. Great stay, great value! We giveyou a five star rating.
