Review 1：No parking facility. A little noisy the first night but I think it was a loud speaking guest outside smoking

Review 2：The hotel is well located for sight seeing, restaurants and shops

Review 3：The young receptionist was very helpful and carried our very heavy cases up to our room. The room was charming and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom was spacious and we really liked the skylights in the slanted ceilings. The decor was modern,and also tasteful and enhanced the charm of the room. The hotel was well placed and gave us easy access to places of interest.

Review 4：The room was small and under the roof, the carpet was old and very stained. The room was on the third floor, there were no lifts and there was no offer to take our luggage to the room. My wife was recovering from a foot operation and she had to climb up and come down steep steps for three days. There was no information stating the hotel had three floors, but no lifts. This should be made clear before booking.

Review 6：The stuff told us they didn't have any space in the parking yard to keep our car in the night, which didn't seem to look like truth - the yard was empty the whole night..

Review 9：Our apartment was up on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator (heavy suitcases...). Breakfast staff was not very interested in their guests and we were offered coffee only when we were almost finished with our breakfast. We were also not informed that we had to pay extra for the breakfast.

That's when I realised sound isolation was poor. The biggest problem was the rude guests more than the hotel though...

Review 45：There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms and no access to any after 10:20 p.m. or so. There was a charge for it also. Because of the language barrier for non-German speakers, this can be very expensive, as your Wi-Fi minutes do NOT carry over from one session to the next. This is important to remember!!!

Review 46：The Alstadt Hotel was nice. It seemed to have been remodeled. It had shades for the windows, a nice feature compared to many. The proximity to the Potsdam Brandenburg Gate is very good, as is it to shopping en route. This was a nicely situated hotel with a decent breakfast. The rooms were well kept and attractively appealing. We would give this hotel three to four stars out of five stars and definitely recommend it.
