Review 1：The down side was ,the village the hotel was in had no bars or restaurants where one could go locally , and as the hotel bar was never open it meant going into Celle for a night cap. I was disapionted that due to being fully booked by none residents there was no available space for me for Christmas dinner even though I was a guest .
Review 2：I liked the fact that the hotel was only a 20 minute walk from the town of Celle , or 8 euro taxi ride . The hotel was warm and comfortable with an exelent shower .

Review 7：It was stated in the "features section" that laundry facilities are available. I was expecting to be able to do my own laundry. This is not the case. I was told self laundry is only available at certain times of the year. This should be corrected on the description of the property.
Review 8：It was a very clean place. There was an adequate amount of hot water. It is fairly close to the train station- about a 10 minute walk away. For the most part, the description was accurate and fair- it is a 20 minute walk from the historical centre.

Review 33：Because the train is late, we arrived the hotel almost 10:30, the young staff man is so patient to wait for us and so gentle to guide us to the room. It is a pity that we even not say 'bye' to him. The hotel's surrounding and service is top-ranking. We think we will continue booking this hotel if we visit CELLE next time.

Review 35：Great staff by family went out of their way to please you. Assisted taking luggage up stairs. Great garden area. Breakfast good as was the restaurant in the evening. Good off-street parking in a safe area.

We have visited more than 50 hotels in Germany thelast ten years. This small hotel has - without any doubt -the bestrestaurant of these. You will find cheaper restaurants, but her youreally get what you pay for. We have visited hotel Schaper seven timeson our way between Scandinavia and the Mediteranean - or on round-tripsin Germany. We will continue to do so.
