Review 1：We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Askania. It is ideal for families. The hotel is situated in the activity center of Braunlage close to Eis Stadion, Wurmberg Seilbahn station and starting points of major trekking/hiking routes to snowy Wurmberg and Brocken peaks. The staff is warm and friendly. After a walk in the cold weather, spend the evening at the fireplace in the cozy dining hall.

Review 2：Staff very helpful and considerate, doing their utmost to make your stay comfortable. Facilities are simple but clean. Quiet location in one of the more appealing villages in the Harz region. Great value for money, too! Highly recommended.

Review 11：Tv-channels impossible to use, since the instructions are in russian. Loud noice from neighboring disco at night. Not very good facilities for locking up bicycles. We were allowed to store them in the celler though.No staff early in the morning at departure.(6.30) Book a double room if you want a room alone. The two-stored bed is fine for luggage, but the room is too small for two. Some rooms are very cold, and the didn't seem to work.

Review 13：Great service and hospitality! Taking in account the price, unbelievably great. Very clean, comfortable (lovely bed with the new futon) friendly atmosphere, helpful stuff, breakfast is rich with a possibility of refill. Location can't be better: next to the mountains and sport facilities. Taking in account earlier comments we realized that the hotel is rapidly developing. For example wifi signal was perfect (on the 3d floor!), we had an electrical heater in the room in case we get cold (it was in Aug, too early for the central heating). The hot water was extra-hot. Looking forward to our next stay at this hotel!

Review 15：It is in a lovely area and is a very quiet relaxing hotel which allowed us to bring our dog.

Review 16：One of the best value for money I ever had. This is new hotel, which rapidly grows up in service and facilities. Location is fantastic - just in front of indoor ice skating and not far from water pool. Ski list is in walking distance. Hotel owners were very welcoming. We will definitely stay here at next visit to Harz!
