Review 1：Everything, particularly the very helpful man behind the desk when we arrived, he spoke excellent English which was useful since we do not speak any German.another excellent thing was that, apparently since I booked the hotel with booking.com, the desk man gave me the room key straight away without asking passport, booking confirmation or any other fom of ID, magic!

Review 24：The owner´manager, Philip is a well educated man who gave me interesting insights on Austria, Bregenz and the politics at the local level. I arrived at noon and they quickly and efficiently had my tiny room and bathroom cleaned.
Review 25：We stayed in Bregenz during a heat wave, and the room was warm and stuffy, which made it difficult to sleep. The Wi-Fi was a bit tricky, at some places in our room we had good connection, but most of the time the connection was average or poor.
Review 26：Our room had a nice, clean bathroom with a good shower. And the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good! The location in the city center, but close enough to both the train station and Bodensee, was excellent!
Review 27：Reception staff not very friendly nor helpful. Does the minimum. Toiletries: 1 bottle given n its to be used for all purposes: handwash, bathing n hairwash. However it was in an opaque refillable bottle n staff did not top it up before our arrival. Hence when we got back after dinner, we could not find anyone to help us top it up. Reception is closed. No room service Number to call. Heater could not be turned on in the room. Bathroom no heater. Bathroom worse than the backpacker hostels that we stayed at. Room was very basic. Not worth the money we paid. No car park available for our car. Breakfast was very basic too. Wifi was intermittent n kept dropping

Hotel is in the centre of town in a pedestrian area so no cars allowed although as we had a disability label, parking was no problem, but general parking would have been hard to find. I think the hotel does have car parking in another area. We had a balcony which let in a nice breeze at night. Value for money and comfort was excellent and so was breakfast
Review 39：My room was outdated. The chair had stains on the upholstery, the wallswere kind of dirty, and the carpet had some stains. The balconyoverlooked the shopping area, but I didn't want to sit out there becausethe chair on the balcony was absolutely filthy. The bathroom seems tohave been remodeled recently, but the rest of the room was stilloutdated. It's really not a bad hotel; it just needs a little bit ofwork. Also, this hotel doesn't use a keyless entry system on the for itsrooms and there's no a/C.
Review 40：Just like its name, Hotel Central is centrally located. I stayed hereduring the Bregenz Festival, and it was only about a 15 minute walk fromthe hotel to the ticket booth. There are tons of shops and restaurantsthat surround the hotel. Plus the train station and Pfander took meabout 10 minutes to reach on foot. The room was clean, the breakfast waspretty good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I feltlike it was a decent value, considering its location and time of year.If you just want a clean place to stay that's close to the train stationand the Bregenz Festival then this hotel isn't a bad choice.
