Reviews for JUFA Hotel Altaussee
Review 1:Personnel seems not to be very motivated. Their faces look like upset and do not like their work. Nobody from personnel said us hello or "guten morgen" when meeting us in the hall (despite we greeted them!). Almost no offer of sweet part of breakfast, poor offer of food at the bar in the evening.
Review 2:Good place in the mountains not very far from Altaussee center. It is very nice that hotel is situated next to the Salt Mines museum (Salz Welten)
Review 3:Our room needs to walk up 1 floor and wifi connection is not great.
Review 4:Great breakfast! Near a salt mine, literally 1 min walk, highly recommend the mine tour. The hotel looks modern and new. Very quite at night.
Review 5:The place is very hard to find, unless you have a GPS.
Review 6:The breakfast was incredibly varied - all you could think of, including avocado paste and bio tea. There was an infrared room and a sauna - we went there at 10 PM and they were still open. Really nice view.
Review 7:since we came off season there was no stuff in the hotel the check in was horribale we coudn't find anyone, we found some phone number inside the hotel and found out the left the key in envelope on the front door, which took us a while to find.we spent an hour trying to check in. The hotel is far from the city center and the road is bad
Review 8:right across the salt mine
Review 9:in the mountains 8km's from the nearest vilage-very small, nothing there. Breakfest average. Dinner poor. Very hard to find, steep curvy narrow road.
Review 10:Nothing except it is across the street from a salt mine.
Review 11:We stayed at JUFA Altaussee in August 2014. JUFA is in the forest, half way up the mountain from Altaussee and very quiet and picturesque. We were only in the area for 1 night and enjoyed our stay, had a very good night's sleep and found the girls at reception very helpful and friendly. JUFA is next to the salt mine which we visited the next morning.
Review 12:No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Need to go and work in the lobby for a Wi-Fi access. Little industrial with not much personal service to guests.
Review 13:New and clean facilities Minimal design but very practical and comfortable for a family. Great location - next to the Salt mine. Efficient operation.
Review 14:Bathroom floor was a bit dirty.
Review 15:Room itself was simple but clean with a nice view. The breakfast was superb, with a great selection of hot & cold options... Literally a step away from The Salt mine (in case you want to visit it).
Review 16:It's way too far from the city centre, there's no other way to get there without a car. Poor breakfast.
Review 17:It's a place where a family (with kids) can stay more than 3 days. They have a lots of activies to do.
Review 18:staff are not friendly
Review 19:Breakfast was awesome, sauna was also nice at late night when there was no others
Review 20:Very difficult to access via public transport
Review 21:Breakfast, cleanliness.
Review 22:- quite - kids and dogs friendly - sauna, football indoor pit - beautiful view from windows - very good breakfast
Review 23:It was 2.5k out of town up a super steep road. Yes it had a nice mountain outlook but we had push bikes and we were kind of stuck there.
Review 24:Friendly staff. Clean with nice cafe and restaurant. Good brekky. Really big place, basket ball court, ski room etc etc
Review 25:missing soap
Review 26:location breakfast sauna
Review 27:Nice rooms, clean.
