Reviews for Altstadthaus

Review 1:The Wifi is for the town, you can use it for free. But in peak hours it is hard to use. But in the mornings and at night it's fine.

Review 2:Firstly, Hans and his family were very welcoming and helpful. We booked the accommodation as part of a 10 day holiday in Germany. We stayed in 4 different places of accommodation with Germany including Berlin, the National Park and Cologne. This was our wildcard as it wasn't in a main location or something we have been recommended. It was however the best by far. Arbsberg was beautiful and gives a real feel for Germany, the people were friendly and the town is wonderful. You can use this also as a base as it is near to Dortmund, Dusseldorf and Cologne for day trips. We had two families: 2 Adults and 3 Children each. So two rooms accommodated all 10 of us brilliantly. The location is perfect, in the heart of the main old town street with restaurants and bars. It is peaceful and quite and very picturesque. Just to finish off. A big thank you to Hans, they are helpful while also leaving you be to get along with your trip. He says he doesn't speak English but as an Englishman he does. He simply thinks he doesn't speak it well. Would and will recommend this place to everyone.

Review 3:Cats hairs under dining room table and the smell of cats urine in the entrance.

Review 4:Good location with shops nearby, very spacious flat with comfortable beds! Very nice landlord and landlady,we will definitely stay with them again

Review 5:Simply put this is Das Haus. Old, 17-18th century stone and woodwork all around. Room spaces are enormous. Watch you head when entering through the doors - they are a living proof people used to be not so tall back then. It stands in the middle of a downtown of Arnsberg which is not down, it's on a slope, with views opening over a valley.

Review 6:Location - in the heart of the old city center; spacious apartments, well-equipped kitchen, heating working excellent; perfect hospitality

Review 7:A little difficult to find.
