Reviews for Hotel Rheinkrone

Review 1:Allowed us to check in early. Then we caught our Rhine-in-flames boat about 100 meters away. When we got back at 1 a.m. we were able to get to our room without difficulty. Our room had a small balcony and we could see the Rhine across the street. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Easy walk into the inner city.

Review 2:Can be a little noisy at night, but that's not uncommon with locations on the Rhein due to the freight trains which run 24 hours a day.

Review 3:Nice location. Clean, comfortable room. Pleasant staff.

Review 4:The staff could have been more helpful, fore instance, I had a problem finding a parking place, eventually I managed to find a car park but there was no information on display regarding charges. When I asked the proprietor of the hotel he said " I don't know because I never park there". The bed was particularly uncomfortable.

Review 5:The location was very good and the hotel facilities were adequate

Review 6:No bad experience but coffee maker in room would be great.

Review 7:Value when travelling with family. Location, room size, room facilities settee, table, fridge etc, breakfast. Casual, location, views.

Review 8:Since we were goi to leave in the very morning and only arrived around 9pm on the previous day, I've found nobody at the reception. Spent around 30 minutes trying to find anybody.. After I called to the number on the business card, one granny arrived.. I've seen such an unfriendly man.. Who even didn't tell hello, who told I don't speak English and who in the end said in quite a good English 'I cannot change the name on the invoice'.. That was funny)

Review 9:Internet connection is rather stable. Perfect location.

Review 10:Staff were helpful and our room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a view of the Rhine from our bedroom. Andernach is an interesting historic town and the entrance to the old part is at the side of the hotel, so it's very conveniently situated. Smoked salmon for breakfast is always a treat!

Review 11:I could hear the train on the other side of the river. The room was too warm

Review 12:Beautyfull view of the river Modern room

Review 13:- Very nice room - Service oriented staff - Calm situarion

Review 14:Easy to find and good welcome. Plenty of parking opposite and if you arrive in evening and leave before 9, there is no charge

Review 15:Good place. Friendly staff

Review 16:The view was excellent. The people very friendly. And the shops close by.

Review 17:No kettle tea and coffee

Review 18:The room furnishings were old and shabby. The refrigerator and safe were not functional. The bathroom was very small, with room for only one person. The shower had brown mold on the walls. The German breakfast was okay, but did not match the standards of other hotels on our trip. Parking is on the street and at a premium during high season. There is also a charge from 10am to 6pm each day. We would not stay here again.

Review 19:The only positive feature of this hotel is its location very near the old city area of Andernach.

The scarce cost-saving "programme" at the breakfast table should limited/avoided. Please refill the buffet to a reasonable extent when until 15 minutes before closing. Or let the guests know that e.g. eggs and more semlen are available on request.

Review 21:Hyggeligt hotel ved Rhinens bred Cozy hotel at the river bank of Rhinen

Review 22:No Bar, but close to main restaurants/bars in small pretty streets.

Review 23:Nice accomodation, really nice. Friendly staff, limited English spoken. WiFi was great. Travelling with a family, this is a nice place to stay. 4th visit to same hotel. Brilliant location

Review 24:The beer range was a bit unimaginative, given that this is Germany.

Review 25:Across the (fairly quiet) road from the Rhine. Family-run establishment with a reliable kitchen, some lovely staff and more comfort per Euro than most. Free wi-fi. The building next door seems unoccupied and the quietness was much appreciated - unexpected given the excellent location. Well-above-average breakfast.
