Review 1：There were no safe or refrigerator in the room. The walls are rather thin which means you cold hear people visiting toilet in another room. We had our dinner two nights in the restaurang and one of those we ordered from "todays offer" but it took 45 minutes from order to delivery in an almost empty restaurang. First night our TV did not worked and we asked staff for support but they said they could not leave the restaurang. I then asked them to call the manager and suddenly it was possible to come and help! The hotel is defintely overprised. We payed 87 EUR per night for room and breakfast but a fair price should be around 70 EUR considering the standard of the rooms and comparing to similar hotels.

Review 2：The hotel is located outside the centre of Celle in a 30 minutes walking distance. We had a room in an annex. The room was rather small but ok if you are not going to spend much time in the room. The hotel has a restaurang serving meals in the evening and a buffe freakfast in the morning. Excellent parking facilities without cost. Wi-Fi worked very well in our room.

Review 14：we specificly asked for a room on the ground floor. when we arrived they had put us on the first floor. It was solved because they had free rooms on the ground floor.

Review 16：When we arrived we were booked in a room on the second floor in the main building, but we had specifically orded a room on the ground floor. The same misstake was done last time we stayed here, but this time there were no ground floor rooms avaliable. The landlord solved partly the problem by ordering the hotel Staaf to carry our luggage.

Review 18：On arrival, after an 18 hour flight, we found the hotel closed and our key in the mail box. Everything was locked, so no access to sauna, games room or bar. No coffee or tea making facilities, breakfast was average, service was very poor, proprietors were unfriendly! So much for our Christmas vacation! No refund or reduction of the £250 for 3 nights was offered, and according to the owner when I phoned him, the hotel was closed for Chistmas. Don't we know it! Very very disappointing! Would not recommend this place for service - I've stayed in more hospitable back packers hostels! Based on this whole trip experience I wouldn't bother visiting Germany again as on the whole found customer services all very odd and unfriendly. They obviously don't need the customers.

Review 19：The bed was comfortable and this was the closest hotel to where my family live. The breakfast on Christmas morning redeemed the poor first impressions, and then proceeded to go down hill after that. The only saving grace for us was the very pleasant receptionist, who made us feel welcome.

Review 20：The only thing I found lacking is NO SCRAMBLED EGGS in breakfast bar. I ate 3 breakfasts at 7:30 and there was no any - unless they ran out before that.

Review 27：The pillow was very bad. It's really old and should be replaced. Thebreakfast room or restaurant really needs some updating, but I guess ittries to be a charming, country inn, but it's not. The management coulduse some help from a professional interior designer. I've seen betterbudget hotels.

First, no other rooms were available according to the person at the reception desk, but after some discussions, we have got another, non-smoking room. Really un-professional. The room was in need of renovation. Poor value for the money. We do not recommend this hotel.

Review 36：This was a very nice hotel and restaurant for the price. It was very easy to find, not far at all from the downtown area, yet in a quiet neighborhood (which I love). The room was very clean, Wifi access was free, and the breakfast (very yummy and plentiful) is included in the room rate. I had dinner in the restaurant as well, and it was great!

Review 38：This is my 3rd visit to Celle but the first time I have used this hotel.It is very easy to get to by car and ample free parking available. Thewalk into town took about 10 mins but it is a nice walk following theriver for part of the way. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly andmultilingual. The room was clean and comfortable. Had such a great mealin the restaurant the first night that we chose to eat there for therest of the stay. Food was freshly cooked, reasonably priced and verytasty (local produce used where possible). Breakfast was buffet stylewith lots to choose from.This is the best hotel I have used in Celle andwhen I return next year I will stay again. Cycle hire can be arrangedand there are several great cycling routes in the area - lots of walkingtrails too. During our stay there were a couple of coach parties stayingbut these were managed very well and did not impact on either therestaurant or availability of staff. I can highly recommend this hotelas it ticked all the boxes!

Review 40：We were booked in for one night only but when we saw our room we decided to extend the stay for an extra night. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable and of course very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant both evenings and the meals were well priced and very good. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. Highly recommended.

Review 43：Nothing wrong about the hotel, just a little tip. The hotel is notreally "next door" to the railway station, if you're arriving by train,and the bus is not available yet, it means to walk for ca.20 Min.(with abackpack on your shouldes) or to board a taxi.

Review 44：The hotel is located at about 2Km from the city centre and ca.1.6Km fromthe db rail station: a public bus runs every 30 min.(till 7.30pm,working days) to both places. The receptionist on duty have a goodenglish command and was very helpful. I've enjoyed some tasty (and valuefor money) dinnes at the hotel restaurant, that conveniently open at6pm... Leaving enough time after the meals for some late eveningpictures in the downtown :-) The room was very comfortable, clean andtidy. Buffet breakfast is great, with a wide choice of sweet and savouryfoods and opens early enough, at 6.30 am. In few words, I will certainlystay there again if I will be in that area in the future.

Review 45：Considering I had never stayed in the area before, I chose this hotel because it was on my route for my business the next day. The Hotel was more than I expected and the staff were very helpful, plus the meals ( dinner and Breakfast ) were very good indeed. I also was given a bigger room than expected which was a bonus and for which I am grateful, although you can only sleep in 1 bed at a time, and as this had 3 then it was hard to chose which one. I shall definitely stay there again.
