Review 1：Proximity to center was audible until some point, but it finally got quiet quite soon. ( it was Saturday night).

Review 2：We were to stay in Oldenburg for one night only, so we were looking for nothing more than just a decent place close to the center for a decent price. When we arrived at the hotel, we were really amazed at how cool the hotel really was. We luckily got the thematic room, which had a sauna in it!! We didn't use it eventually, but we definitely would had it been colder that night. Apart from that, the room was mega spacious and really beautifully decorated in a Finnish wooden nature-like style. The same for the bathroom, with a shower including a small barrel of cold water ready to be poured down at your head which would be really cool after sauna use I guess. The free parking, very central location, good wf, great service and huge breakfast variety completes the picture. We were very satisfied to say the least. By far one of the best three stars hotel I have ever stayed at! Looking forward to coming again for sure!

Review 3：The only minor detail is the lack of a lift, only access via stairs, but this is more than compensated for by all the other pluses!

Review 4：A really excellent and highly individual family hotel with great attention to service and detail. Our triple room was a large studio with a room divider between the living room and the bedroom, an upstairs balcony/patio, and even a small kitchenette. Very good beds, everything very clean and in excellent and new condition. Excellent breakfast, and - a very nice and thoughtful touch - the offer of a complementory lunch pack! Plus a handy gym, much enjoyed by our teenage son, who liked it a lot! And plenty of free car parking, and less than 10 mins walk to the main shopping street. Would definitely come to stay here again when returning to Oldenburg!

Review 18：I was given a 'theme room', though I hadn't asked for one. It turned out to be the 'cinema room' - with cinema screen and seats, brightly lit film posters, a huge lit photo of Times Square over the bed, etc etc. A lot of money was spent on this, and it was very well done, but not at all what I wanted! It was not comfortable or relaxing - I would have preferred a simply decorated room. I asked if I could change room, but was told that no others were available, so I had to put up with this room for two nights.

Review 21：Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast was rich and varied, catering for different tastes. Without exception the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the hotel is such that one really feels at home there. My comments are not just based on this one stay. In fact it was our fourth stay in Hotel Sprenz.

Review 24：The shower in room 903 was a bad design, you either drenched yourself when turning it on or flooded the floor. No lift No information in English, everything was in German including the hotels facilities and services you offered.

Review 29：The television needed to be reprogrammed everytime we switched it on and there were very few programmes in english - but that is only a minor grumble as I shouldn't expect that.

Review 31：Non-detachable showerhead (American style). I hate not being able to wash properly, and wouldn't have booked had I known. I think there should have been a warning. Very noisy late-night music and traffic, and early-morning corridor noises from other guests and the cleaner, ie poor insulation. Room actually felt cold, too. Other than the breadrolls, the breakfast selection was poor - no types of fish, and, from what I could tell, the only tea was herbal. Booked a smoking room, but didn't get one. Was bumped up to a room with a balcony, so I could smoke in the rain instead.

Review 32：Very friendly staff. Nice to be given a small packed lunch, but they shouldn't assume that everyone eats meat; I had to throw mine away. High-quality breadrolls at breakfast. Big room, with kettle and tea and coffee.
