Review 2：very kind , helpful receptionist. She is really amazing personality. She left her office went outside the hotel to make sure that i did park my car in the suitable place

Review 3：Wi-Fi was working unstable. It looks like some devices can't reconect to the network at all.

Review 4：Staff. Girl from reception was very friendly and helpful, we've received all needed answers for our questions regarding what to see, what to do, where we can eat. Breakfast was rich and tasty (but notice that there were no hot meal). Room was spacious, nice and light. The hotel has it's own style and charm.

Review 5：It's a little hike to parking...which can be challenging with small children and luggage (in the cold pouring rain) but still doable. (and the staff did tell us we could have brought the car up to the hotel for unloading)

Review 6：We thoroughly enjoyed our short time at the Medusa. The family room was perfect for our family of 4. The hotel location was great - right downtown. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the overall facilities were nice. We would go back again!

Review 7：well located, in the heart of the very pleasant peninsula. Hotel is within easy walking distance of everything including the -cheap, public- parking. Luggage can be comfortably (un)loaded at the hotel. Plenty eating places nearby.

Review 10：Nothing special about the location or the view, but you could easily walk to the harbor, so not a big deal. The hallway light was flickering and created a strobe effect which was a bit annoying and the room needed a bit of maintenance (lighting fixtures falling loose from the ceiling and the bathroom fan was on its way out).

Review 11：Very nice rooms with interesting decor. Was fairly close to the main pay parking lot and train station compared to some of the other hotels. Parking next to the hotels is difficult on the island, so this is a plus. Was next to a sandwich place and a nicer small restaurant with good beer and food, which was very convenient.

Review 14：Very unpleasant stay, staff very unpolite and stubbern to understand the issues we had, not even accommodating to clients request, advertised free wifi and it was not available , no staff was available after 8 pm, very nice pictures in the site however the rooms are old and stinky with very dirty rugs , bathroom was smelly and the water was very yellowish, I have a very bad taste of the hotel, and the price paid for what it have to offer and mistreatment of staff and manager .

Review 18：The view from the windows of our room was depressing, we couldn't even draw the curtains because of the extreme backyard situation. Otherwise the room was okay, but with this view it should have been cheaper. This drawback should be mentioned when booking.

Review 20：Really lovely boutique hotel, nice spacious bedroom and excellent breakfast. We used it as a stopover but would have been more than happy to stay longer. Location was superb in the middle of Lindau islet.

Review 21：I had a single room and the room was very small overlooking the patio of local people . In the information it said that the hotel offers spacious rooms but it did not refer to my room. It was hotter inside than outside and the temperature was around 30 C . Because of all that I shortened my stay in Lindau and I will never stay at the Medusa hotel any more.

Review 23：The bathroom was beautiful, but the tub did not have a handle nor a non-slip mat and therefore was a bit dangerous. Wifi only worked when sitting in the corner of the hallway.

Review 24：The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The hotel was in the middle of the city and one could hear people in cafes until late at night. Breakfast had a large selection of very tasty foods.

Review 36：The location is central to Lindau island with lots of cafes/restaurants nearby. Its about 200 metres (north) the waterfront and 300 metres (south) to the harbour. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent.

Review 38：Location right in old town - not on the seafront, on a square and with a road with lots of restaurants and bars around the corner. Pedestrianised area but can park to unload luggage - parking an easy drive away. Large, beautifully decorated room. Good breakfast - and seating area outside for a coffee afterwards or a smoke. Checked in very early and no problem.

Even so this did not spoil the visit. Breakfast was ample and varied. Lindau is a gem of a place and not to be missed. A place to return to over and over again.

Review 49：Extremely expensive for what you get (although we did book quite late). For the price we paid, I expected five-star luxury, which this hotel is not. It is a good hotel, not an amazing hotel. No air conditioning in the room we had, which made it extremely warm. Shower fairly poor. Handwash was empty.

The location is perfect, only 50meters to the walking shopping area, and lots of nice restaurants there. Must stay in Lindau Island if you are the first time visitor like us!
