Review 1：The room was initially too cold and I had problems turning on the TV but the staff corrected the problems promptly. The room didn't have much of a view.

Review 2：The breakfast was extraordinary. Beds were comfortable and the room was nicely furnished and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the robe and extra towels in the room for the spa facility, which came handy. The spa facility itself was large with heated pools and sauna.

Review 3：The spa is nude and facials not available. Desk staff needs to know more about the spa, poor information leads to miss-understandings.

Review 4：Great spa pool and facilities. Breakfast is huge with every possible selection and staff particularly nice. Rooms are large, love the annex with balcony.

Review 5：My fiancé and I visited the hotel as a weekend getaway. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and more. It was relaxing, had its own private lake area, the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. I can only recommend this hotel and will certainly be visiting again in the future!

Review 6：Staff in the breakfast room generally poorly trained: lacking in basic service manners, alternatively neglectful or downright chatty and nosy. The WiFi net was woeful, reminiscent of service in parts of the African continent.

Review 8：Our only criticism is that we had to be moved from the room we booked (within 5 minutes of arriving) as, in spite of being a non-smoking hotel, the room smelt heavily of smoke. As a non-smoking hotel, we suggest that ash tray's on each balcony actually make it easier for smokers to smoke in their room, rather than outside. Perhaps removing them altogether is a better solution. The room we were moved to was fresh and really lovely, but smaller than the room we had booked (with no price reduction).

Review 9：This hotel fulfilled all expectations. At the middle point of a hectic tour through southern Germany, it provided the perfect opportunity for relaxation in outstanding surrounds. The service was outstanding, from front of house to the restaurant and the wellness centre. We left early on our final day and they allowed us to come down for breakfast an hour earlier than they normally open. The breakfast manager was incredibly helpful and put us at ease (given that we were actually probably an inconvenience to them). Wonderful room with outstanding views. Best hotel experience by far during our time. Expensive if compared with other hotels but not when one looks at what was on offer.

Review 12：The staff at the restaurant were stand-offish at first - foreign young couple is not a typical sort of guests at this hotel I guess. You get a view of Lake Constance only if you are staying at the main building, which has only about 1/3 of the total capacity. If you are staying at the dependance, you either get a view of the parking lot or a field, which kind of negates the benefits of the location

Review 17：We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Sonnenhof and wish we could have spent more! The rooms and facilities were beautiful and being up on a hill in the heat of summer with the cooler breeze was perfect. The private beach was great and had easy access by foot or car. Most importantly the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and child with sever food allergies. The chef was amazing and really went out of his way for our family.

Review 18：Very relaxed and comfortable. The spa was perfect after spending all day out and about. The hotel has its own beach onto the Bodensee which was lovely and chilling to sit on the loungers at the end of the day and watch the sun going down. The harbour is also within walking distance and again this beach was great and where the locals meet on an evening. The staff are very friendly and the hotel rooms have been modernised. We hope to stay again.

Review 19：The swimming pool not accepting kids below 16 years. Very frustrating for them and the parents. The security reason is a joke with a 1,35 m height pool.

Review 21：The sauna and swimming pool are closed after 22-00 what is really strange. Massage works only 5 days per week. The restaurant is crowded during dinner time so better to book a table in advance if you are more than 2 persons. Some rooms are extremely small with windows going to parking spaces.

Review 22：The location on top of hill is very good. You can enjoy sunset in swimming pool seeing Bodensee and sun. Breakfast is amazing in terms on choice and quality. Hotel's restaurant has tasty menu for dinner. Bodensee is only 5 mins walk.

Review 24：This is our second stay at this hotel - it is a lovely location with far reaching views across the vast lake. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The staff were very friendly, we had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. Breakfast too was wonderful.

Review 44：The bathroom was tiny with no room to really put anything, nor any towel racks. The toilet also smelled -- although it looked clean. No air conditioning -- so if it's summer, watch out! It would be horrible to stay in the little rooms if it was really hot out!!! One of the jet things in the pool didn't work.

Excellent breakfast with hot items, cold, fruit and Sekt. Great that it went until 11:30, so there's time for a morning swim and no need for lunch. Elevator -- so fully accessible. Nice restaurant area, although I just had breakfast & was out & about for dinner. Very quiet. Would definitely come again!

Although it was not needed in the time I stayed (end of April) the rooms are not air-conditioned. Very nice wellness center. Great breakfast.
