Review 1：No bell captain to help with luggage as any expected 4star hotel, breakfast does not have a lot of variety. Staff english language is fair and have not a lot of tourism information to give.

Review 3：The only minor aspect was rather slow Internet connection.

Review 4：The room was very pleasant to stay. The location of the hotel is superb, surrounded by nice restaurants and local shops. We could start our bus tour from the hotel which was surprisingly good in historic, political and architectural ways.

Review 7：The matresses were all covered in plastic under the cotton sheet and pillows and duvets were all syntetic, very uncomfortable to sleep in. Both the room and the bathroom wasn't clean - toothpaste on the bathroom door, stains on the mirror, and hair (from former guests) and pretty much dust on the floors etc. We arrived late and didn't discover it before we were undressed to go to bed. The reception didn't seem to be interested the next morning. In the breakfast room the table cloths with coffee stains etc. were not exchanged between guests, which I would expect at a rather expensive 4 star hotel.

Review 9：The single room I´ve booked is way too small and I definitely can´t recommend it unless you´re staying just a few hours to sleep. If I book this hotel again, it will have to be a double room. Breakfast buffet was also overpriced for what it had to offer.

Review 11：No parking was available at the hotel, had to drop off the car elsewhere. No balcony - advertised was 27 square meters, room was smaller (perhaps a good 20m).

Review 13：The shower in our room 116 had fluctuations of warm and cold water, so eventually either too hot or too cold, not a constant temperature of the water, which made taking a shower a little tiresome and a little uncomfortable. We reported this to the front desk at our departure and we trust same is (hopefully) repaired. Further, as many travelers and the hotel staff wrote before, the hotel parking place under the hotel is rather small and may be (a bit) challenging and as mentioned by the hotel staff, is not suitable for big or high cars. For us no problem and we enjoyed to park our car in the hotel parking place.

Review 14：Clean and comfortable hotel in a romantic atmosphere in the city center of Potsdam and most palaces, places of interest, restaurants and the shopping area are all at walking distance. Very friendly, efficient and disciplined staff. A special compliment for the excellent service we got at breakfast every day !

Review 15：They have a low height interior parking..so they could not accomodateour vw Tiguan ..but we were offered one of the two outside parkingplaces in the back of the hotel ...in october ...what happens in thebusy summer months....

Review 17：Staff didn't knew about historical places. Uncomfortable beds. Struggle each day about our SUV even if their parking lot was almost empty each day (they told, too high, but we didn't found any problems to park it). Even the manager of the hotel didn't want to help us, but finally she gave us a small 2€ bottle of wine (from Lidl). Ridiculous. Bed was very bad, we both got back pain. Cleaning ladys used very strong cleaner for the carpet, awful smell each day on corridor.

Review 20：Our room was extremely clean and the bed felt like home. The décor is lovely and the communal areas and lift are also extremely clean and sophisticated. The breakfast was breath-taking. There was everything one could ask for! The staff were subtly attentive and very polite. The location of the hotel was ideal as it was very close to the Palace Sanssouci and the heart of Potsdam.

Opening the french windows/doors allowed for a nice air flow. The room was still quiet being that our room overlooked the center courtyard. The staff was very pleasant and every request was taken care of in a very timely fashion. We would stay at this hotel again should we return to Potsdam!!

Review 70：The rate for the garage (15 Eur/day) seems a bit high. The Wi-fi Internet access, free for the guests, requires logon credentials, which are valid for only one device and session - used once, can't use more. This is not very convenient if you have more than one device.

Review 71：It is a very nice hotel, elegant, recently innovated and impeccably clean. We stayed in a room on the 1st floor, overlooking the patio. Even if a bit on a smallish side, it is very well equipped and comfortable. The hotel has a superb location right in the middle of Potsdam, with all attractions in a walking distance. It also has an underground garage, which proved very convenient for us - we just left the car there for the whole day and went off on foot. Can definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Potsdam.

The staff where excellent and spoke good English and where happy to help us whenever we had a request or needed information regarding tourist attractions, shopping etc. The room was spacious and quiet and the whole hotel immaculately clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and we liked the choice of dinning areas. The Jägertor is a very romantic and beautiful hotel and we would recommend it to anyone.
