Review 1：Ok, so there is no Dutch TV, No English TV except news chanels, no Scandinavian tv (which one would expect in the very north of Germany), but there where over 60 Arabic channels including 20 with Qu'ran citation. Now with all respect to our Islamic friends, I would of thought that the Atlantic hotel could also cater to the needs of the European guests.

Review 7：The location opposite the rail station as we arrived by train. Staff was very friendly and informative about what to do in Kiel. Breakfast was excellent. Staff called taxi for us, even though rank opposite hotel. Liked the view from the room, overlooking the water. Room was comfortable, and bathroom good. Large shopping centre two minutes away, which included supermarket.

Review 8：There is no iron & table in the room. Room Service: Any thing you ask from room service, in addition to the price of the food ( which is normal) there is an additional fee you will have to pay for bringing your request to your room!! Even if you asked a simple ice, you will be charged for bringing it to you!

Review 9：This is not my first time to stay at this hotel, actually it might be my 7th or 8th. It has gr8 location where it is opposite to Kiel Train station & around 100 meters from its biggest mall & taxi stand. The Train stn has all types of food, has an almost 20 hours super market. Kitchen staff are the greatest :-) Nice & cold air condition If you were lucky to stay at our room (519 or 419) you will have a nice view to Kiel Gulf.

Review 12：unpolite staff at the front desk. No possibility to iron in the room, should have paid around 10 euros to get one shirt ironed. We booked a room with king bed from booking.com and even made a special request for a large bed as we were travelling with a small child. We got a small queen bed.

Review 19：Nice welcome on arrival, friendly helpful staff, Room was very nice with a small balcony overlooking the harbour. Roof top bar was very pleasant and popular with non residents also. Restaurant was also very good albeit a somewhat fish based menu.

Review 20：The "view" was mostly of a construction zone, with a sliver of the water visible. The shower, while dramatic to look at, was a glass construction with no door. Couldn't get a nice steamy shower going. Wifi connection password was hard to locate.

Review 22：Quality of service in the Restaurant (Pier 19) was a bit inconsistent (on a Sunday evening when it was not at all full). Some of the room decor will need sprucing up before long.

Review 30：Good location, comfortable room and very good food in the restaurant with English Menus and service, I regularly stay here for business due to it's location and price as well as for the easy access to the Kielius bus which takes you directly to and from the airport.

Review 34：Almost everything.. beside Oam a frequent guest st this v nice hotel. 50 _100 meters away from the followings: Train station.. Bus station Taxi stand Kiel port and Sophien Mall .. the biggest shopping mall in Kiel.

Review 35：Staff enters your room in the early evening to close the curtains and re-arrange the cloths on the bed. If you don't like this, just hang the 'don't disturb' sign on the door.

Review 37：- The free Wi-Fi required me to input my login details every few minutes, hence hardly useful. - At night time the room felt a bit dark. There should be additional lights, so that those preferring brighter rooms can switch them on. - The laundry was accepted only till 9 am. Many hotels accept late laundry and return it on the same day at additional charge, or return early next day. - The writing desk was a bit small. No bay. No suitcase rack either. - If you cancel your booking before 6 pm the day before your arrival, it's free cancellation. But after checking in, if you want to shorten your stay and inform them 24 hours in advance, they still charge you a cancellation fee worth one night's stay (as I experienced). How does that make sense? Surely that's less severe than cancelling your whole booking?

Review 38：- The Location - right in the heart of the city, just 1-2 minutes walk from the main railway station, the bus station, ferry services and the shopping area. - Rooms was spacious, modern looking, with a great view to the sea fjord. Plenty of natural light during the day. - The bed was nice and firm, with a selection of pillows available to choose from. - Sofa-type sitting bench to accommodate 2-3 people. - Electronic safe was spacious enough. - Bathroom was nice, bright and tidy with enough space to move around. There was a tub with a shower.

Review 39：Last time I stated in this hotel I had a lot of problems with the internet connection and gave up in the end, thankfully that is not the case now and I had no problems, I also forgot to bring a travel adaptor and shaver and they gave me both, so very helpful. I are in the restaurant and had a very good meal and good service, all in all a much better experience.

Review 69：The internet was very poor, only worked during the day, when guests came back in the evening then you could not log on, the hotel said it was due to the large number of guests that they had staying. For a business hotel this is not good enough as every room should have reliable internet access especially at this standard of hotel. I will not be using the hotel again for this reason alone.

We got to Kiel late at night and it was great being able to walk across the road to the Hotel and then the next day we walked down to catch our ferry to Norway - great location. For non-german speakers it was nice to find that all the staff spoke english. It's not the cheapest hotel in town but you get what you pay for - definitely worth it.
