Review 6：Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room with a great location for touring the city. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning with a large number of choices, all well prepared. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night. The food was good and very reasonably priced.

Review 8：Frau Hohmann is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very well-maintained and the rooms are large and kept very clean. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful and there is a good range of food on offer.
Review 9：Rough immigrant neighbourhood, very loud street including traffic (and music from cars), house across the street som sort of youth hangout, occasionally hostile youths in the street, rich in graffiti and ill-maintained buildings. Wi-Fi was skecthy at best and there was no AC.

Review 36：Everything was excellent during our 4 days stay in this hotel. We were maximally satisfied and can only reccomend this facility to everybody who decides to visit the beautiful historical town Celle. The hotel is right in the center, rooms are very well furnished and clean, people are very nice and polite with their guests, in surroundings, up to 40km, there are many attractions both for adults as well as little children. Even if you spend 2 weeks here you are not able to visit all the places which Celle offers to tourists. We give 10 stars from 10 !!!

Review 41：We chose Celle and particularly Hotel Am Hehlentor as an overnight stop on a trip between Sweden and sothern Germany. The city is very nice, with an unique old style center, and the hotel is located downtown. The apartment was large enough for the four of us and the breakfast was very good for us and the kids. It is a nice break for those who want to avoid the big cities.
Review 42：The hotel is situated at a major road junction. Our room faced the road and it got very noisy with traffic in the evening. In addition, the room had no air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open as it was a warm evening and this made the noise situation worse. The ceiling in the room was very low and in the bathroom even lower so taller people may feel claustrophobic. There is no elevator and the staircase is a bit narrow so carrying big suitcases up and down was an ungainly task. During check-in, the lady at reception asked if we would be having breakfast, mentioning that their breakfast is very good. I am a bit particular about my breakfast and our child likes certain things only so I asked if we can decide in the morning after seeing what's on offer. The lady said this is not possible. I jokingly asked if it is a secret and she said they prepare breakfast based on the number of guests who have ordered. I thought OK, that's a fair reason, so I said in that case we would just go downtown for breakfast and she jut replied, "Do that then," without offering any further information on their famous breakfast.. I found this a bit rude and strange because I think it wouldn't have been too difficult for her to simply tell us what they serve, especially since she was the one saying how good their breakfast is and asking if we want any..
