Review 1：No airco, it was very hot, no minibar- couldnt get the fridge to work. tiny shower.Not suitable for disabled.

Review 3：The main hotel is a four star, but they put us in a three star guesthaus with no view and small room. If you booked your room using booking.com they will claim the fitness center is not included and it is another 25euros.

Review 4：I liked the main hotel was nice. The general location is nice, but it is a 30 minute walk from the train. The breakfast was outstanding and included in the price. If you stay in the main facility it will be nice, but you should ask up front.

Review 24：The room was soo extremely hot, even though the weather wasn't even that hot. I'm not sure why, and there was no AC. Every time I took a shower the water would constantly change from cold to extremely hot. I mentioned this to the front desk but they did nothing. Also strange was that there was no phone in the room at all. So you couldn't call front desk or get a wake up call. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The staff was rude to me one morning at breakfast, and the woman seemed annoyed that I didn't speak German.

We changed and the new room was the same.Smell seemed to be in the carpets.I've stayed here before in the main building and the room was excellent, so this stay was a bit disappointing. Oddly, although breakfast has gluten-free bread, the dinner did not. Evening staff seemed inexperienced.

Review 43：Away from Kressbronn and the bodensee radweg, so a short very steep climb to the hotel. The main hotel is just off the busy A31 which meant that some road noise was heard if you were using the main hotel facilities. however no noise was heard from Haus Konstanz .

Review 47：Haus Konstanz is set at right angles to the lake, so that every room has a view of the lake from the balcony. The rooms are modern, very clean. I liked the little extras - soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Needle and thread and a safety pin, telephone book in one of the drawers. An umbrella in the wardrobe. An extra door into the bedroom which cuts out all the noise from the hallway. There is a chilled Beer vending machine at the entrance to the building. Haus Konstanz isn't a hotel but a block of about 24 bedrooms, but you have access to the main hotel which is about 200 yards away, and you have the use of all it's facilities. The hotel is only 4 star but I have seen 5 star hotels that are not a patch on this place. Breakfast was fantastic, coffee, all sorts of tea and soft drinks, bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, cooked meats, all sorts of fresh bread, fresh fruit, toast, cakes, even smoked salmon. It was served until 11.30 everyday. The leisure centre was even better. Luxury on a scale I have never seen. I think there were five saunas, a beautiful pool, and there must have been a shower for every guest in the hotel. There was even an ice machine, cold drinks and foot sinks to cool you down after the sauna. Make sure you have your key card. You will need it to access the leisure area and to lock your locker. All the hotel staff spoke English and they enjoyed speaking in English.

Review 48：Difficult to find - nothing is stated about being part of the Sonnenhof Hotel and so this is misleading. The 'guest house' is very basic and had we known this at the outset then we would NOT have booked! Although we had booked for two, the room was set up for only one person including just one single duvet. Towels were threadbare. The 'lake view' is a glimpse, sideways from the small balcony. No elevator, no telephone in the room, no tea/coffee facilities, no balcony table. Our room keys did not work and I had to go across the complex to reception for the internet access key as 'it is a long code'. It was and then when I tried to go online, I had 10 different networks to choose from - none saying 'Sonnenhof' or 'Haus Konstanz'. I did complain at reception about how basic the accommodation was to be told that 'it is 3 star'. As a former hotelier, this is 3 star of the most basic standard - more facilities should be available for the price. The only food facilities are in the 4 star Sonnenhof, across the complex (good - but at 4 star prices). Parking also difficult, full up at 8pm. The information given to prospective clients should be updated! I would not come here again!
