Review 1：did not have a bad experience but would have liked a gym in the hotel and not in the shopping centre next door but I knew that before I booked so no surprises.

Review 2：very clean hotel and bedroom. excellent facilities. good wifi but cables in the room as well - both free. Easy to find, well situated right opposite the main train station. The bar and food costs were very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again, 10 out of 10 from me! An absolute bonus was the Christmas market 5 minutes walk away :-)

Review 3：Although it was clean, but a lots of dirt (looked like some cotton fiber) was in our room. bathroom sleepers are not included in the room rent, you have to buy them separately.

Review 15：the smoke from the smoking area (or room?) went right into our bathroom through the ventilation system. It seemed like someone smoked in the bathroom, we had to keep the bathroom door shut all the time.

Review 20：In general very nice hotel, a room we got facing street was a bit noisy on the Saturday night but yeah location just to train station so that's what we were looking for. We were supposed to get a quiet room but having a carriage it was not possible to get to the room as the lifts are only to the hotel on one side as far I understood a lady right. My girlfriend didn't feel well in the morning and it was not a problem to get breakfast to the room that was really nice and staff was very helpful.

Review 36：This hotel was at least as good as any four star hotel. Included were bus pass, gym pass. Right next door to large shopping centre and mall, and over the road from main train station and bus depot. Despite this the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was enjoyable.

Review 37：I chose this hotel because it is less than 200m from the main railway station in Kiel. This is also right next to the bus station from which bus routes leave to places all over the city. My room was comfortable and well lit, and well thought out too.

Also the fact that the room key envelope allowed us to travel free on all public transport, which we made use of.

Review 52：Location superb, and easy to find: Kiel a very walkable city. Hotel near old town, shopping, cruise ship docks, and right next to train station (which also has many take-away food options). We were allowed to check in a little early, quite helpful to us. Room quiet - did not hear traffic or trains at all. Room was comfortable, very clean and bright. Hotel had all amenities needed. Common areas have kept some style details from mid-20th century, and small details like Hotel towels, chocolate on the pillow, and personal small pots of coffee maintain a personal touch of class. Elevator available. Did not use gym next door, but its availability for free is a nice option - esp in bad weather. Breakfast excellent - and very cheerful servers. All staff encountered were friendly, professional and gave excellent service. I believe Hotel Berlinerhof is a family run hotel? We strive to support those... this was another very positive experience, and reasonable cost. Will be happy to stay here again next time in Kiel.

Review 53：If you need wi-fi for business, this is not the place to stay. Wi-fi in this hotel was of very poor quality, even if you were close to the router.
