Review 1：One of the best 5 STAR hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying. Awesome location with the mountains staring you right in the face. Great hotel with an even greater owner and all his staff that couldn't do enough to please you. Great dinners and the traditional free Austrian breakfast that was to die for and that you don't see in North America. Had a room with a great view of the mountains off of our balcony and it was simply gorgeous Many amenities here also with a pool, many different saunas, spa treatments, etc. Will definitely return in 2017 for our 50th anniversary and hoping our waiter Peter is still there. Thanks Peter for your wonderful service and getting to know you, you are simply a gentleman. Thanks again Alpen Residence you were awesome.

Review 9：We loved the position of the hotel almost in the centre of Ehrwald. Our room was very comfortable with an enormous terrace. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive.

Review 11：Stuff are friendly, comfortable and clean, wide room, quite place to take your breath from work....it is vrey good by all means.

Review 14：Great and beautiful location, right next to the Zugspitze ridge. The village of Ehrwald, where the hotel is located, is a very nice little village to spend a couple of days. Staff in front desk are very friendly and well cooperating. We got our room early in the morning, which helped us a lot to get some sleep and rest after our night flight. We've stayed on half-board basis and dinner was delicious (dining room's staff did not speak English but we managed to get our requests after all). Huge balcony is overlooking the surrounding mountains, gives excellent Alps atmosphere.

Review 15：A really wonderful hotel, situated in a quiet street but in very closeproximity to the village centre and immediately in front of the ski busstop. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful, thefacilities are outstanding, especially the Alpentherme wellness centrewhich was sheer bliss. The room was large, well appointed and with aview of the Zugspize mountain. The food was absolutely superb - a variedand beautifully cooked six course meal every night, a top class GalaDinner on Sunday, and a generous and delicious Farmer's Buffet onThursday. Added to this was an afternoon snack of cake or savouriesserved at afternoon teatime, as well as a generous and varied breakfast.Importantly, the staff were happy, and told us that the proprietors werekind and generous, and that as staff they felt valued and respected.There is a complementary programme of activities - snowshoe walks, alovely torchlit walk through the larch forest, aqua aerobics in thepool, and other entertainments. Generosity and kindness, attentivenessto detail and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere make this a perfectplace to stay. There was nothing at all that we did not like about thishotel, and would return there either in summer or winter. Very highlyrecommended indeed.
