Review 2：Room was very nice with sitting area the breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of salads cheeses and cold cuts and rolls. Very much geared for Europeans but eggs to order were offered.
Review 3：The breakfast was hands-down the best I had Germany. Excellent cheeses and canapés, along with a lovely spread of fruit salad, sliced meats, museli, juices, etc. The room itself was almost a suite, with a sitting area, beautiful painted wardrobe, balcony, en suite bathroom, and very comfortable double-bed. Karyn, the kind owner, speaks only a little English (which is very common around that area), but we were able to get by during check in with her little English and my little German. Her daughter speaks excellent English and was there in the morning for breakfast. She was not only very nice, she also helped me get my return trip figured out by suggesting a much simpler (and shorter) route than the one I had planned. It is in an excellent location, very close to the Therme, main street, and restaurants. There is a restaurant/pub two doors down, as well as a number only five minutes away, so I'm not sure why a previous review complained about the lack of places to eat close-by. It is a little more challenging later at night, though. The town rolls up quite early... even at 7:30pm the town seemed dead. Bad Steben is utterly charming in every regard. Overall a very pleasant experience. I just wish I'd had more time there!

Breakfast was good and taken in the attractive breakfast room. Eggs were freshly cooked for us. There was an interesting choice at the buffet. Checkout was friendly and efficient.
