Review 1：Resort location good, very poor room placement initially overlooking road on ground floor with workers directly outside terrace. When complained we were moved to a first floor apartment which was better but work was going on in the internal hallway and balcony overlooked kids club and tennis courts. Not all but some reception staff were quite disinterested and the chap who showed us to our room was bordering miserable. Tv didn't work in the lounge and although we reported this wasn't followed up so by the IT dept so was out for the duration of our stay. Bath water is brown and TVs channels especially for kids (on the TV that did work in the bedroom) was poor. I may be out of touch but £20.00 for an average burger and chips seemed a bit heavy. A beer, water and orange juice at £20.00 also seemed too expensive as was £5.00 for an ice lolly for the kids.

Review 2：lovely beach and swimming pool. Well presented large two bedroom apartment. Kids club was good with varied activities. Valet parking was prompt on each occasion we needed our car.

Review 20：villa below us was very noisy from 4:00 AM till 7:00 a.m. They kept on shouting and singing which made us uncomfortable and were not able to sleep or even relax at all. It was our anniversary and we were not able to enjoy our evening, that was really disappointing. We have called front desk and we complained couple of times but no action was taken by Anatara group.

No wonder there was never a single person bathing at the lagoon! Sorry but unacceptable, guests were suppose to be able to enjoy the lagoon. The main pool was cold too for this time of the year, which is no longer 44 degrees as in mid summer!

Review 52：I never really want to be negative, but we did have 'several' issues, mainly connected to 'Anantara' understanding of different customers needs. Although these were explained to us, it has left us not wanting to return to this resort again, having previously visited sister property in Hua Hin which was 'perfect' and the very reason we chose to spend our vacation in Dubai. Attention to detail is a 'MUST' in order to understand customers of ALL nationalities.

Review 53：The Mekong Restaurant was amazing! Fantastic service, menu explained to us and the food was exceptional!! Well worth a visit!!

Review 54：The location of the villa, it was too close to the beach, no privacy. Ppl can see through the windows so we had to close them. Muslim couples won't be happy about the privacy of this villa. The only area was somehow private was the closed area in the balcony. And one more thing that upset me was: I asked for special arrangement through booking and they replied saying ok. In the check in they informed me again, Good? but the villa was empty nothing was there! I had to call them and they sent someone to do it (surprise was spoiled).

Taxis are cheap and is close to atlantis water park a must do. They have a free shuttle to emirates mall be sure to use it. As food at mall can be alot cheaper and supermarket there to stock up your mini bar with coke chocolate etc sadly cant buy beer. The beach is amazing and is beautiful spot for families and couples. Water bottles all free and you can ask for more as much as you like

I had a series of disappointing events: i) Looking for help with simple tasks and requests was hard work, and there was a lack of clear communication between the team, meaning you had to constantly revisit the same subjects. ii) On request of call backs from the duty manager, nothing happened. iii) When matters were resolved, this was with an air that you were being granted support, when in effect for the price paid I had an expectation that going the extra mile would be the norm. The lagoon view room is not like what you are seeing in the photos .. Its just like swimming pool between the rooms. It is over rated, we spent about 4000 dhs for 2 nights and they couldnt extend the checkout for even an hour claiming they're overbooked, and i get it but it doesnt take 3 hours to clean a room,2 hours wouldve worked out. I wouldnt come here again,it wasn't worth the amount of money i paid. Yes lovely pool, but im not paying just for that!

Review 137：the delay in check-in (more than 2hrs), my booking was for premier lagoon access and my room was in front of construction area and noisy all day and night, the labors were facing my room and keep watching us, really i was disappointe, the driver how's take me to the room promise me to change the room immediately and he will spoke to the manager,i wait for him for more than 2 hrs but without any response, so all day was wasted by the dalay in CHECK-IN and waiting to change the room. after all the dalay they didn't change the room for me and in the next day they call me at 11:50 for the check-out without considering the all delay. i spoke to the duty manager Mr. Ghazi and he apologized about what happened during my stay and he givs me late check-out and he ofer me free lunch and free upgrade in next visit.

Review 139：Reservation staff are some of the worst I have dealt with in my life in such a luxury hotel. Absolute disrespect to the customers, and a low level maneuver from requests. I have been requesting to shorten my stay and remove the last night from the moment of check-in but reservation team have played ping-pong by pushing me back to booking.com, and when booking.com agents call them they decline the request, although the reservation had no condition or penalty for early departure. Yet ears are blocked by the reservation team. Special thanks to the front desk manager who was on duty on my departure day, who personally managed to resolve the conflict. This property if off my selection moving forward.
