Review 1：If you book for longer time than stay, you need to pay for days you are not there. Internet connection on 5th floor not working properly. Channels in TV only in German.

Review 3：It would be hard to find a nicer, friendlier mid-sized hotel in the Ruhrgebiet. It features easy-off and easy-on connections via the A-40, a large shopping center nearby and deserves at least one additional star for many reasons. We used the hotel as a press base during an event in Germany. The associated restaurant "Distel" is worth visiting for its own local culinary virtues. Everyone working the hotel reception desk (day and night) was helpful, cordial and good-spirited. First-time visitors to the region should simply set their navigation devices to postal code: 45475 Mülheim an der Ruhr.

Review 4：Silent and clean room, excellent cuisine (smoked salomon with potato pancakes - delicious!), nice service. Good location - near to main roads. Innovate and homey - hot coffee with mugs and ashtray on high table outside for smokers :) Wonderful place :)

Review 7：Beds were comfortable but I didn't like the bottom sheet as it felt rough. I haven't seen a sheet like it before it might have been because it was winter. The material was warm but a bit rough on the skin a bit like lying on a rough E cloth.

Review 10：Hotel is conveniently close located to the highway, but has the feels of a rural German hotel. It is quiet, one doesn't hear the highway in the hotel, and the rooms are spacious. The breakfastbuffet (not included in the room price) has good food. Very friendly and helpfull staff!

Review 38：I lost count visiting Hotel Kuhn; it's become my living room in the Ruhrgebiet... Friendly staff, a more-than-decent restaurant, a nice bar AND recently refurbished rooms make this one of the best value-for-money places I could think of in the area...

Review 39：It took me 1 hour to go to the city centre of Oberhausen with public transport while it's only 4 km away so I had to take taxis all the time which made my stay considerably more expensive than I had hoped for. Free Wifi didn't work in my room, only in lobby and hallway. Impossible to get a snack after midnight, not even chips or peanuts. The night porter (who didn't speak English) gave me a handful of coffee cookies which was a nice gesture but not exactly what I had in mind around that time.

Very friendly staff, doing everything (including meals that weren't on the menu!) to make us feel comfortable. A great 'base camp' for e.g. CentrO, the various XMas markets, or the Ruhrgebiet Industrial Heritage Route...

Review 45：The hotel used to be better, last year I was impressed by the quality ofthe rstaurant... This year I ate much worse. In the morning they don'tserve you cappucino for breakfast even though they have the expressomachine at the bar (last year they did). The moquette in the rooms isold and sometimes it smells... It really needs to be renewed. Overall itshuld be an hotel of 50€ per night and not 70€ or so....
