Review 1：Even though it was end of season, I didn't expect the hotel to offer a VERY restricted menu. The choice of food was poor (everything with chips and no buffet). Location was outside of Larnaca - need bikes or a car to access.

Review 2：Wanted a winter sun holiday as my birthday is in November. Hotel was VERY quiet so no rush for sunbeds of other facilities. However, this also meant beach bar was closed, many sunbeds had been packed away, and absolutely no holiday atmosphere in the hotel (rarely more than 4 or 6 in the restaurant at night). Felt like a ghost town!

Review 3：Could have had more facilities for children (play area) and better priced food/drink so the B&B guests could have enjoyed the hotel bars/restaurants a little more. Also, a hotel lobby TV room/facility would also have been quite handy.

Review 4：Friendly staff, and even friendlier resident cats which we loved. Great room with massive bed and excellent views of the sea and hotel pool.

Review 8：Good service from all staff .. But allow me to commend both the lovely 'Georgi' at the reception area bar and Andreas who supervised breakfasts... they are conscientious workers, forever 'on the go' - yet always find time to supply information which proved to be invaluable during our stay.. I would have no hesitation in employing them. They are a big plus for the hotel. The facilities were enough for us. - may not be for others but our intentions were to have a quiet relaxing break which is exactly what we experienced....the breakfasts had plenty of choice...hot food was always hot.....room was spacious and very clean. Lovely setting, lots of green .. view to the open sea... Location is good.... drove 500+ kms during the week, east, west & north without difficulty. We will deffo return ! Theresa & Mike.

Review 9：Everything costs extra, including the jacuzzi and sauna. There was no kettle in the room (and no water coolers in sight), and no power sockets (in order to charge our phones we had to unplug the TV and the minifridge). There is no wi-fi except in the lobby

Review 11：We were warmly welcomed with drinks and smiles, and got our room imideatly. We've booked this hotel via booking.com. I called the reception a couple of times before our arival. Asked the managers for an airport escort, and they were very polite to organize us one. We had a couple of surprises during our stay, like Champagne and fruits in our room, a free dinner etc. These were very pleasant suprises considering we've booked our room via a website and weren't expecting that.

Cleanliness - Our room was spotless. Staff always about cleaning corridors, bar areas etc. Loved the walk in shower and modern bathroom in the Exec room. Breakfast - good choice of cold and hot food. Property has four lifts and were ALL working for the 9 nights we were there. Pool - Life guard on duty during pool opening hours and really comfortable beds around the pool WiFi - Free in all areas. Concierge - Christina very helpful and attentive.

All food places (including grocery stores accross the street) close early so we hoped the hotel at least would have the kitchen/room service and/or snack bar open. The room had only 2 electricity outputs, one of which was for the TV, so to charge two cellphones we had to "not watch TV" There was complimentary water upon check-in to our room but it was not replenished the other 4 days. Breakfast was good, but would have liked some change to the menu during our 5 day stay.

Review 30：Hotel is old and has been renovated recently but not to the 4 star standards. Lobby and common areas are decent, but the rooms are cramped (even the largest ones) and modestly furnished. The bathroom is even worse. There is no direct sea view. bar and restaurant staff are slow, speak bad english (almost unimaginable for Cyprus!)

Receptionist were very helpful and connected me to an excellent cab driver (George) who took me to and from Nicosia where i had a business meeting, and also drove me to the airport on the same day at 2am in the morning. If you need a limo in Cyprus George is the man to call for sure.

Restaurant is overpriced. Odd policy with towels mean you can only have a new beach towel every 2 days (or pay to replace it).

Review 36：Location of room next to elevator and dreadfull noise from night club near hotel, restaurant staff throwing empty bottles into recycling bin several times after 2am and shouting,laundry delivery truck unloading noisily 7am, club sandwich purchased lunch time was terrible,cats in reception at 6am and no ac in reception so very hot, breakfast was not very gòod, all in all expensive stay with very little sleep.

Review 44：The room wasn't really a 4+ star hotel room! The TV, an old model called "Telefunken" that you couldn't even switch through the channels. Anyway, we didn't need a TV. But I was surprised seeing it. Breakfast was ok, but I could have booked for accommodation only and get a better breakfast outside! Paying for WI-FI in the room??? No! We expected more for the price of 120 euro per night.

Review 46：The beds are very very soft. I like them, but if you had a back problem it might cause you an issue. When I arrived the front desk did not take me to the room, which meant I had to guess a bit where it was. But the staff I met on the way were very friendly and showed me the right direction.

Review 48：Located in a relatively quiet area, not far away from Larnaca downtown (~15 minutes by bus), reasonable restaurants very close to the hotel, so BB is not a problem. Private beach, everything kept clean and in very good conditions. Renting a car for a minimum of 2 days to see more places on the island is a must.

I felt that more could be done with the three main bar areas which were more or less deserted through the entire periods they were open. Review 58：The friendliness, politeness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel breakfasts were excellent and everything was spotless. The pools were clean and well kept. Access to Larnaca main town was easy by local bus outside hotel.

Review 59：The room was very basic...totally not deserving 144EUR per night. Purschased a Superior Room, but I am guessing it was the same with the rest. No coffee-making facilities in room, bad TV signal, it was a side-sea view and not a sea view as purchased, very basic spa services (to be called a spa hotel) and very noisy corridors (no sound isolation). In the end I felt sorry for myself for paying so much for so little.

People were reserving sunbeds and umbrellas as early as 6 in the morning and then not appearing and using them until much later in the day..completely unfair when us and others had to sit up the top by reception just to sit in the shade.if sunbeds are not being used they shouldn't be allowed to be reserved!!

The spa had one person working there so no appointments available. It didn't open until 10. Looking around alone as there was nobody on reception was disheartening, the jacuzzi had no water in so it looked like we were not missing much. As we had booked for a nice spa weekend this was a disappointment.

Review 65：I have been returning to the Sandy Beach for over 20 years and I am finding that the hotel targets the 'all inclusive' package more and more - which in my view affects standards and quality e.g. A very poor 'Brandy sour' - tasteless - made with very poor quality brandy - replaced with the 'non all inclusive' version - back to the usual standard!!!!!!

Review 81：I went for a relaxing week. The staff was great. Was met at the desk with a refreshing lemonade and a cold cloth. My room was very spacious and the service was tremendous. Christina, the Concierge had many activities planned for the week such as wine tasting from a local winery, Greek dancing, music at night, and I also learned to cook a Greek dinner. The spa was also great. Rafaella, the spa attendant was very welcoming and I enjoyed a massage with a facial. The gym is spacious and just enough equipment to get a good workout in if you so choose. I liked the idea of choosing to sit by the pool or walk just past the pools and you are on the beach. Food was good and nicely priced. You could catch the bus right next to the hotel and you are in town within 15 min. Plus there were restaurants and supermarkets right across the street from the hotel too. Very enjoyable experience.

Review 82：The hotel is definitely not a 4 star. A good 3 star at best.Everything from fixtures to furniture is cheap. The rooms were renovated but unfinished, the bathrooms desperately need renovating.
