Review 1：Lovely room, friendly staff. We were there on a sunny day so very much enjoyed being able to swim and sit on sun loungers in the garden. The sauna area is small but also nice. Delicious dinner and a wonderful breakfast.

Review 17：The room could have been a little warmer. And I would have asked for a room with a view had I known there were rooms on the ground floor facing a parking lot. Breakfast was too expensive for the selection.

Two-ply toliet paper!Every staff member down to the grounds guy smiled and said hello! Thechef gave us a new bite of something to try every course (amsuebuche)...EVERYONE Seemed happy to be working there..!

Review 22：I liked everything. I stayeed the NYE night. Breakfast was served until 1 pm officially but the 2 very friendly ladies at the breakfast room made an excpetion. Very kind staff , nice Building and location. Would stay again.

Review 24：The check-in lady was grumpy. The check-in should be the visiting card of the hotel. It is the first impression that the guest gets of the establishment. In our case, the lady decided she didnt really like the look of us (we arrived on bicycles in cycling gear),and everything was an effort. A shame, because the service at dinner that evening ( a young man whose name i forget), was really attentive. The place has a bit of a faded glory feel about it. There's not much to see in Kiel, so I wouldnt recommend the journey. However, if you need to stay in the city, then the hotel is probably a good choice.

Please note the indoor pool is closed on Mondays until 11:00.Please note that extension and renovation work will be taking place throughout the winter 2015-2016. The hotel will then have a new lobby area, 2 new restaurants, a bar, 21 new rooms and a spacious conference area. In the meantime, some noise and disruption is possible, but this will be kept to a minimum.
