Review 1：Having found the hotel on booking.com and having seen the pictures and the reviews we had very high expectations of this hotel before arriving! We really can’t fault it in any way and it really deserves its number 1 spot!! From initial check in to check out everything was perfect. The hotel is beautifully, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Restaurant offers very tasty meals, menus and the breakfast were marvelous. The real force of the Jägersteig hotel is the spontaneous and natural kindness of the all staff that really does show a natural friendliness, not the professional trained polite manner. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Review 7：The location was great overlooking the forest and local vineyards. The rooms were very clean modern yet the hotel kept a rustic charm The option to dine inside or outside was very welcomed

Review 8：The guest house is perched on top of the hill that overlooks the little town of Buhl. It is about 20mins away from the Baden-Baden downtown. We went here in December and it was well lit, so we could see it from the bottom of the hill. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. We did not have dinner here, but the breakfast in the morning was great. The views in the winter with the snow all around were beautiful. We could only imagine how beautiful it would be here in the summers.

Review 10：The breakfast represented excellent value for money. The croissant and rolls were the best I had tasted in Germany so far. I was told by the staff that they were baked fresh by the chef. The shower pressure was fantasic and the large heaters in the room and bathroom enabled us to get our washing dried quickly.

Review 11：No preadvice (through booking.com) about the hotel being closed on Thursdays for weekly day off. Upon arrival, Hotel lights off, dark. Sign at the entrance door where to find the hotel and room keys.

Review 23：Road works currently being undertaken in hotel car park and on road under main cafe/hotel - these apparently started being worked on at 6 am. When first arrived there had been a mix up and only two rooms for eight people had been reserved instead of the four rooms for eight people....eventually sorted with us as the lead party taking rooms annexed to the hotel.

Review 24：Fabulous view and an excellent meal. Clean rooms and despite initially being disappointed to be in the annex away from our group this was fine, we got a lovely plum tart off the family who live in this section which was so kind of them.

Review 26：Old fashioned room , and the bathroom very basic. It is not what youwould expect in Germany. So for the price you ought to get more.Restaurant prices too high for what you get. Not fresh fish , but out ofthe cooler. So all in all , disappointing.
