Review 3：- At breakfast the tables are very close to each other. (Sometimes only an inch)...

Review 6：Staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager welcomed us personally and when we had dinner at the restaurant hotel the first evening (which was, by the way, excellent and even affordable) and explained us Swabians why they say "Moooiiin" as greeting in northern Germany. The room was furnished a little old fashioned but it was comfortable and clean, same for the bath room. Bed was good but the mattress very soft - we slept very well but it may not everybody may like this. Breakfast room was very nice, warm and sunny - and the breakfast one of the best ones I had in hotels so far. Big choice, everything fresh an lovingly arranged. Location was also great: just round the corner, one street (maybe 200 m?) up and you are at the sea side. To the train station and Borkum city it is also only 3 minutes. For bathing it was no issue to get big bath towels free of charge ("Just take some from the Sauna area").

Borkum Island is partially car free.Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.It is important to let the hotel know what time you intend to arrive.
