Review 1：Absolute disgrace. I complained about drilling and banging works which commenced at 8 am. I went to bed at 4.30 am after my arrival. I was awaken by drilling and was tired all day which affected my work I showed them the video I took, 2 days in a row . They told me nothing they could do as it was advertised on Booking.com that there were refurbishment works. Totally untrue I. No where when I booked did it say anything at all . I demanded a reduction in the cost and they said no chance effectively told be to get lost. Would not contact anyone after I said I was unhappy and wanted to speak to higher management Customer service appalling

Review 2：Tour desk is not operating properly. This department should be restructured, either the tour company itself is the weakness or the tour desk lacks communication skills and is missing the proper delivery of information from the supplier to the customer. Plans were changed many times in matter of hours which ended up shorten the overall trip from four nights to two nights. In other words, frankly speaking, this is the worst tour desk I ever seen in my entire life. Furthermore, The Guest Relations Officer who is in charge of this, was providing me the same driver every time despite the fact I have requested to change the driver ten times on a single call!! In case the management of GB is reading this; I strongly recommend restructuring the department and till that time, you are kindly requested to remove “Tour Desk” as a hotel facility because there was no Tour Desk! Finally, this hotel dealt in dishonest and unprofessional manner. Never again.

Review 3：The breakfast is delicious and fresh.

Review 4：Pool's needed to be cleaned. Breakfast / dinner could be more variated, but ok. Nothing really happens in Larnace ( at least not in December ) about 45 minutes drive to Limassol, but that's how things are.

Review 6：The hotel is actually more like a 3 stars one. The hotel inside needs a lot of renovation cos it is very old, the staff are not helpful and not friendly and service is very slow. Food is ok but dont expect much!

Review 9：I stay in 4-5* hotels in Cyprus (mainly Limassol) perhaps 4 times a year. This hotel felt like Cyprus in the 80's it needs a major renovation especially of the communal areas. The bar looks like the bar on the show Cheers! Food again, very 80s and inaccurate what I ordered and what I got was a little different. Very old fashioned in terms of offering and presentation.

Review 10：Rooms were big and the balcony was nice. Side Sea View rooms have a decent view of the sea. The pool area is nice, however still old fashioned.

Review 17：The rooms were totally sub-standard and maybe about a 2.5 out of 5 starts at most. we were extremely disappointed that Booking.com said this was a 5 star property, and maybe some rooms are 5 stars, but the standard room was very bad. So unless you get the presidential suite/rooms, or the nicer room, watch out, because the standard rooms are not nice at all.

Review 21：A double bed should be a double bed...not 2 singles pushed together. Our room was not cleaned. Only replenished with a bottle of water and a food tray removed. There were knickers on the canopy roof of the apartment below ours...and dirty ear buds... There is no hairdryer...just a hose type thing stuck to the bathroom wall.

Review 24：went to the hotel after our wedding party ( 4 am) the receptionsit at night was excited and pleasant at check in ..told us that we can check out later than 12.00 pm.. woke up at 11.30 and the other receptionist kicked us out before noon ..we were very dissapointed. didnt even have the chance to use the bathroom

Review 30：Oooo... When we came to eat and start to do it, waitress must to give us cups and coffe, we wait for it hours and when coffe end she didn't take care of it... And last evening our flyth was at the evening and of course wasn't free room for us, but it was ok, we came to the restrorant in the hotel, seat and start eat, after that comes waitress and asked our room number, but we haven't, and she make a face like we homeless. Terrible service from Thailand !!!!

The cleaners on our 3rd floor were excellent, rooms done very well and on time, we were not disturbed and all was done like by a magic wand. Lunches and evening meals were good. It is a very good idea to have themed dinners, especially the one with local food and dances. Really enjoyable. We noticed a good improvement from the last year : wifi in the room was very good and convenient. We have already recommended the hotel to our friends.

Review 49：I went to Gloden Bay Beach Hotel in May 2015 to attend a wedding. The hotel has a great location (10 mins from downtown Larnaca, 20 mins from Ayia Nappa, 40 mins from Limassol)... The pool and beach facilities are really great... The views are wonderful and the breakfast is perfect! Wifi works well with occasional hiccups in performance...

Review 54：The hotel is in dire need of rennovation with most balconies missing parts of the concrete and paint chipping off everywhere. Other than the hot tub the junior presidential suite can be compared to a 2 star hotel while the bed is awkwardly hard. Furthermore, don't expect any privacy even if you have your own private hot tub as all of the terraces have non-locking gates between each other.

Review 68：I was participating in a conference located in the hotel. I booked a room with pool and sea view. The purpose of the trip was mixed (Leisure/Business). My family was enjoying the beach, while I was participating in the conference and enjoying my time with them as much as possible. The room was clean and tidy; the staff was helpful; the location is great with direct beach access. There was a bus stop right at the hotel entrance in case one wants to visit the city. WiFi quality was good, although it was free.

Review 71：I called the hotel to make a reservation to be advised that it was full, i then booked a room via booking.com which confused me as it obviously was not full. The pool is not heated and too cold to swim in. The hotel is basically an 'all inclusive' hotel, we paid an exorbitant rate for what we thought was a 5 star hotel with 5 star facilities to be disappointed. The manager provided us with a free meal and bottle of wine voucher for the family due to their advice that it was full and then we booked via the internet, unfortunately the restaurants were closed!

Review 74：Beds at the Beach dirty. Bedroom furnitur, including bed cover.....old and unattractve. Bed hard as hardboard. Bathroom facilities long past their "selling date" (and shower cord too short!!). In short, you describe this hotel as a dating agency might be talking of a 70 years old and posting a picture of that person at 30!!!! It is at best a "decent" 3 stars described AND SOLD as a 5*. Unacceptable.

Review 78：-Children's facilities - Waterslide was not open in the afternoon and the air-conditioned kids club was not opened even once during the week we were there (or at least wasn't open whenever we visit it),there is an outside mini kids club for the children to draw but since it is outside it is only shaded and not air conditioned. -The indoor pool looks a bit neglected -No pool is suitable for swimming (the indoor pool is small and the outdoor is built like a slalom)

Took a mini suite room which turned out as very suitable for families with children with a huge balcony with a Jacuzzi (shared by several rooms), Perfect when the children were asleep so you are not "trapped" in the room whispering. The food was great with some evening dinner events which were very nice. There is a variation of pools - a beautiful outside pool, an indoor pool, a kids pool with a mini slide and a waterslide. And all is a few seconds from the beach which is dreamy.Flat like a pool in the mornings and the water temperature is great.Some water sports are available as well. Definitely recommend it.

A great beach area and lovely pool areas to choose from with an abundant recliner chairs necessary given that July is the start of the busy season and many families utilising this hotel. Easy walking distance to some very good Greek restaurants and a small supermarket located across the road. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

At the reception the staff was extremely helpful and always smiling which really made you feel very special. Evening meals were excellent, the restaurant staff very good as was the breakfast food. Cleaners (bless them) did a super job without interfering although we were sometimes getting in and out of the room at different times. However, we were amused that in the hotel there was no Clock - may be a good idea to have one at the reception (not in the rooms).
