Review 1：Restaurant closes too early at 9pm. Maybe if it was laterit would be more comfortable.

Review 2：Its located at a very silent area and the centre of black forest. Rarely traffic passes. Train passes below the room maybe every hour but does not bother you. Views are very nice and relaxing with lake infront. Parking no problem as in september. Child friendly!

Review 3：The is a nice hotel which looks out over a lovely lake in the middle of the Black Forest area. A car is required to stay here and with a car it is a short drive to all the sights. Our room was roomy with an excellent balcony that looks out over the lake. A good restaurant is attached to the hotel and a basic breakfast is included in the price. For an extra charge a hot breakfast can be ordered and the price was reasonable. The WiFi was good. I would recommend the hotel.

Review 5：Nice place, near a lake, all in order to break away from the atmosphere of the city. A little scary at night, all black :)

Review 6：Great location, right across the road from the lake with small Strandbad and kiosk. Different world to the madness of Titisee a few miles away as the lake is very quiet. Staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English, old style Black forest building but with modern style.

Review 7：The service is not at your favorit all the time. request for attached rooms or two rooms close to each other was not fulfilled although given two monthes in advance! There was nobody to speak to. Only a waiter was present at the restaurant . after 21:00 you can speak to the walls. The phone assistance was not usefull. we asked for a simple omlet (eggs only) at beakfest for the child and got a request for extra 4.5 Euro....

Review 9：Room was perhaps getting a little dated, however it was very clean and comfortable for our two night stay. We took cheaper option of room at the back, probably with hindsight worth spending the extra few euros to get one at the front with a balcony and view over the lake. Food perhaps a little expensive in the evening, but it is in a fantastic location so not too bad.

Review 10：Fantastic location. 1km through the forest to local station and then free train travel throughout the black forest region using the free black forest card provided by the hotel (also gives free bus travel and access to many attractions). Great outdoor terrace with view over neighbouring lake and forests. Popular with locals and visitors.

Review 11：- In 2015, my belgian credit card is (yet/still/again) rejected/incompatible by german card-reader... (!nothing to do with the hotel!) - Wifi code is bound to one device (I am sure I could ask for additional code, but we came for the snow...)

Review 12：- A (very) late check-in was possible, thanks to the partnership with one other hotel: we did not even get off the car to be acknowledged and redirected ! Sweet! - Very very nice, smiling and efficient staff - Our ski-pass are included, foreseen and prepared by the hotel (nice surprise for us) - super advice to extend our stay in Titisee BadParadise to end the WE in a warm oasis. - The lake area/view is just....jaw-dropping-beautiful - All (*all*) roads, access, streets, parking, ...are snow-plowed. - Charming dinner/breakfast room
