Review 1：The walls between rooms are very thin and there is no soundproofing. Internet was very weak and after 10 pm stopped working. Restaurant does not work on Sunday. There no TV channels in foreign languages.

Review 3：The shower over the bath was almost impossible to use. The gentleman on arrival could speak very good English, however the staff who served us for dinner and whom we encountered the next morning struggled with English which made it a little hard.

Review 4：The room we were given for our family was of a very generous size. It was also great it had parking. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle while still being only a 5 minute drive to the Christmas market.

Review 5：No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Wifi poor. Maybe bar opening times could be longer and restaurant not open on Sunday's, as there is nothing near by we ended up with mc Donald's for tea.

Review 9：1. Lack of elevator (lift). We have to carry luggage to the second floor. 2. Our personel experience: not enough personnel in the evening, thus personnel were more caring about restaurant guests then checking-in guests. 3. There is no visible signs regarding parking places for all quests (where exactly You may park). Parking itself is OK (entrance is from the behind of the hotel). 4. No air-conditioning. Upper floor rooms may be a bit too hot, depending on the weather.

Review 10：Very clean, as usually in Bavaria. Quiet. Tasty breakfast. Small swimming pool is nice, especially for a children.

Review 13：We booked Domizil (40 days before) because they offered a 4 people room while others offered at lower prices 2 double room. Upon our arrival at the reception there was only a lady busy at the phone that did not deign to look. We were greeted by a lady coming from the nearby restaurant that in a very expeditious way gave us ONE key. The room was in the attic directly under the roof and had only a double bed. The space was suitable for two people and above all the room temperature was near 30 degrees centigrade. Back to the now empty reception I kindly recalled the attention of the lady which, visibly annoyed, called another guy. This one told us only in that moment that the 4 people room was not available and they were giving us an additional double room for the price of one! The advantage was so ours, not theirs who had placed our quadruple to someone else! Wifi in both room was not working at all as advertised by the hotel in their room description since the signal (checked with 3 different devices) was very unstable

Review 14：One of the hotel staff complained that our Labrador was 'too big' when we checked in. Given that he is not overweight, this was an odd comment from a supposedly pet friendly hotel.

Review 19：The hotel, staff, rooms, cleaning and facilities were acceptable, the price considered. But we were very disappointed about the breakfast, which we had all been looking forward to. The selection of food was okay, BUT It was practically swarming with big flies around the cold cuts, as it wasn't even cooled or covered, though it was very hot outside. Disgusting! This could have been causing a serious stomach-infection, which would have been very unfortunate on a holiday.

The breakfast was absolutely top notch with beautiful breads, cold meats, including hot and continental breakfast choices. The owner was brilliant, spoke English really well and was helpful by offering up ideas for things to do locally.

Review 32：Everything good. They invoiced me 10€ more than the amount agreed with Booking.com. When I showed them the booking on my phone, they returned me the 10€ I paid extra. I was very pleased with this little detail. I will definitely go back again.

Review 35：We booked in advance 1 room for our family (2 adults+2 children) but when we arrived to the hotel the staff told us (in German because nobody in this hotel speaks English) that somebody else took our room! (And the same happened to our friends.) After very long time, they finally offered us 1 doubble and 1 single room so 3 persons had to sleep in one bed and we got only 5euro discount for all these inconveniences. Despite this, the rooms were small with old furniture and weren't cleaned properly (e.g. there was a chewing gum stuck to the hanger in the bathroom) and there's no parking for the hotel guests so we had to park our car in the street far away from the hotel.

Review 47：There appeared to be a lack of direction from the management. Staff (except waiting staff in restaurant) seemed to muddle through. On checking in, I had to ask twice for the directions to the car park entrance and I had ot find the room myself. It appeared to be a house rule that I could not charge items to my bill - so I had to pay for my drinks.

Review 49：The old woman in the reception ( I think she is the owner) just speak German and does very few efforts to communicate with foreign language speakers. In the reservation is written that the hotel has free WiFi in the rooms, but she wanted us to pay 2 euros per day for each device. It's written in booking.com that the hotel is 1.2 km from the city center, but I can tell it takes a half an hour walking to get there. Our room was just below the roof, maybe because of that it was very hot.

Review 121：We have been coming to Germany & Austria for many years and have always been impressed by the quality of the hotels and high standards of professional service and hospitality shown to us as visitors.However a series of events taken together conspired to make our stay at the Domizil hotel less than memorable.1. We booked the Domizil without appreciating that it did not have a lift. Having previously requested a high floor room this meant that we had to carry two large suitcases up several flights of stairs to one of the 'attic rooms' we had been allocated.2. In this particular room the space provided for suitcases was not wide enough. We ended up positioning our suitcases 'under the eaves' requiring a 'limbo dance move' to access our clothes.3. The fridge had not been switched on prior to our arrival and did fit securely in the cupboard. When we switched it on it gave off more heat in an already hot & stifling room than it did cooling down our bottles of water. We switched it off and drank lukewarm water for the rest of our stay.4. A broken shower gel bracket had been left attached to the wall in the shower cubicle. I CUT MY ARM on this bracket whilst showering.5. We booked the Domizil without appreciating that it did not have air conditioning. Unfortunately we experienced two days & nights of some of the hottest weather of the year. In the hot & stifling atmosphere in this 'attic room' we had virtually no sleep for two consecutive nights.6. On the first night we had dinner in the restaurant. The service was adequate.7, On the second night we were told we could not eat in the restaurant because quote "it had been set up for breakfast". We were asked to eat outside which we did, sitting on hard 'bench seating' for quite some time. To make matters worse the service was slow and inattentive, A very unpleasant experience.8.

The woman who went to sleep my first night toldme she would have to charge me a day room if I stayed the extra 2 hours.I told her she had left me out in the cold for almost an hour the nightI arrived, and she relented, but grudgingly.I felt the location was too off the beaten track - one had to walk at least 20 minutes to get to anything edible, as the restaurant in the hotel was not open. I also felt that the price was too high for the facilities, even with the better price I got on booking.com. Altogether a very disappointing experience that I will not be repeating!
