Review 1：A very lovely place with a inside fire place, interesting books, good food, a perfect view at Fitz Roy ( make sure you get up for the sunrise! ), clean rooms and kind staff! Good place to start some hiking tours.
Review 2：We loved our stay at El Pilar. It has the most beautiful view. Great access to the hiking trails and wonderful dinners to return home to. The owner and staff were wonderful. We would recommend this place to anyone going to El Chalten!
Review 3：I can't say this is a short-end. The hostel doesn't have wifi. But thinking in a good way, it does help me to fully enjoy our trekking here!
Review 4：The hostel offer free in and out town traffic for us when we check in and out, which is really helpful to help us to connect to our bus. The room is very clean and the sofa area is so warm. I like the location best. It is very close to the starting point of the trekking trails. If you start from El Pilar, you don't need to walk towards to the sun and the trail is easier because most of the trail is going downhill. The staffs is very helpful. They told us the weather and showed us a very detailed trekking map, which helped us to estimate our trekking schedule.
Review 5：We chose this property owing to its proximity to trail heads closer to Fitzroy. However it is quite remote requiring a 30 min car ride to and from town. Hotel provides 2 free transfers, otherwise it's a 300 peso cab ride each way.

Review 11：The 13 km gravel road is a bit rough! The food was good but they could have done better with more robust flavours and choices - the menu was the same the 2 nights we were there.
