Review 1：The room was a bit hot and stuffy (on the 3rd floor), and the window barely opened.

Review 11：This is an excellent family run hotel, we found that everyone we met were so friendly and welcoming. It is located close to the centre of Oberstein but within easy walking distance of local places of interest. Car parking is provided, just a short walk away.
Review 12：The location was perfect, right below the castle and the beautiful church in the mountain. The food was really good and the waitress was so busy, yet was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Also, the mineral museum across the street was amazingly impressive with it's extensive collection of geodes, jewelry, and semi-precious and precious stones from all over the world. Thank you all!

Hotel's free parking spaces are limited in number, and this could be a problem in the busy season. And parking is 1-2 blocks from the hotel. Be ready to climb stairs.
Review 28：Location is in the heart of Idar. Excellent breakfast. You can even ask for eggs! Super helpful hostess. Yogurt is to die for. Room very comfortable, with nice hi-def TV, desk chair and two casual chairs. Easy walk to good restaurants, coffee shop and shopping.
