Review 1：Despite room advertised as air conditioned no aircon was fitted. After about one hour we were reluctantly offered another room which was supposedly air conditioned but the aircon was almost totally useless.

Review 8：I have stayed in this hotel many times before and enjoy my stay there every single time. The personals are extremely helpful and caring. The cozy bistro has good choice of tastefully and visually appealing food items. This time I am specially impressed with a young man named Patrick, who even modified a special dish to suit my wishes. What a service! As usual the breakfast in the big dining room was very, very good.

Review 9：lies outside Idar-Oberstein town center.Inconvenient for those without a car. But then a bus will take you to downtown.

Review 10：very comfortable and nicely decorated room. Friendly and efficient staff. Exceptionally good breakfast in a beautiful elegant dining room. A smaller dining room offers excellent choice of German food . All inside the hotel! I have been here many times and enjoy staying here everytime.
