Review 1：Mr. Fehrebach was a wonderful host and a master chef. Really a delightful experience. The hotel is a little remote and up the mount a ways but once there you will be charmed by the rolling pastures, pond and serene beauty of the Black Forest. Very clean and quite comfortable. If you like to be away from the crowds and off the beaten path, this is the place to stay. We hope to come back someday. Thank you so much for making a couple of Americans feel like family.

Review 3：We wanted to eat dinner at the hotel and we figured out that the prices are very expensive and the place has a high class kitchen. Tough, the food wasn't that good to our opinion, and it was too late for us to leave so we ate there anyway. It is not recommended to eat there, unless you have extra 100 euros for a dinner (for a couple).
Review 4：We've been to the black forest for a one week vacation, and absolutely this is the best place we've been at. The rooms are very very big, with all and beyond the facilities you ask for with the fare for the night.
