Reviews for Las Terrazas Hotel Boutique
Review 1:We chose to eat in at the restaurant and were the only guests to do so - inspite of this service was remarkably slow.
Review 2:Great set up with lovely views. The terraces are quite unique and added to the authentic feel of the town. The staff was also very welcoming. Right round the corner from the centre of town, the location was great.
Review 3:Room was very warm as the heating was on and was controlled centrally. It was turned off when we asked though.
Review 4:Very friendly staff, and beautiful location.
Review 5:The wifi in our room did not work the whole 48 hours of our stay so we had to trek down to the lobby to access the Internet. Every time we returned to our room we had to wrestle with a door lock that did not want to open. The breakfast was underwhelming with dried out croissants.
Review 6:Physically the hotel is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, the views great, but at these prices we should not have encountered the minor problems we did.
Review 7:The breakfast... well, for an Argentinian I think it would be good, as the argentinians often eat sweet bread for breakfast, and there were lots to choose from. For me it was a poor breakfast, I would like eggs, more fruit and a good coffe. The coffe was horrendous, I don't know why, maybe the equipment wasn't cleaned? Instant coffe could be a better choice here...
Review 8:The hotel was not as expected. It looks more modern and new in the pictures and the pool area is smaller in reality. It didn't matter much though, the decor was nice and there wasn't many people by the pool side. The room was spacious and clean, the staff super nice and helpful. The center with many nice restaurants very close, 5-6 blocks.
Review 9:It was clean - forgo the breakfast it was horrendous
Review 10:It was clean & adequate. Tilcara is an interesting village well removed from the modem world. The feint hearted needent apply. 1 day is sufficient though. Eat lama at one of the local restaurants, but beware of the Malbec it's 15%
Review 11:Nothing!
Review 12:Room was truly huge with great sitting area inside and on the balcony. Bathroom was also huge with a great shower. Pool was great after a long day on the road.
Review 13:Not a hotel problem but the restaurants charge 16p for using the knife and fork. Seriously. A little startling at first but once you know, no problemo.
Review 14:Although the staff spoke little English our little Spanish got great results. Very helpful. An exceptional little hotel in a cool, funky little town. Highly recommend El Patio for lunch or dinner nearby.
Review 15:Hard to find, bad/indexistent sign posting. In this village it's really bad with the aggressive dogs.
Review 16:Very nice location, friendly staff
Review 17:EXCELLENT HOTEL 9/10 . TO BE RECOMMENDED.

Review 21:Lots of stairs
Review 22:Rooms Staff Peaceful Breakfast
Review 23:Great atmosphere and environment. Great simple (decoration). Kind, helpful staff.
Review 24:Maybe a bit pricey but for the service it's ok... and Argentina is expensive!!!
Review 25:The hotel was very good, hotel staff very friendly served us a coffee on arrival while the room was being prepared, but then the room was ready and they served the coffee on the private balcony with the view on the mountains. Excellent breakfast too and very good recommendations for restaurants in town. Only 2 min walk from main plaza!
Review 26:Its a beautiful quiet place with only 9 rooms, each of them with a nice balcony with view over the montains. The rooms are very big and the beds excellent, we slept very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful, we had a very relaxing stay. The location in the end of the "town" is good, because you can walk to all restaurants and sites.
Review 27:We didn't mind, but travelers with mobility problems should know there are no elevators, so the highest floor is a fair climb. Well worth it, we thought!
Review 28:This is a beautiful place, with a unique layout - each floor is higher up the steep hill. We were on the top level, which has the best view, and we loved it. The room was big and the gravel balcony delightful The desk clerk (manager?) was extremely helpful, even offering to mail postcards for us.
Review 29:Very friendly and considerate staff in a beautifully laid out hotel built from local materials. Each room has a view across the valley to the multicoloured cliffs opposite the town.
Review 30:A bit too expensive, even though it is quite nice. 100 uSD a night with taxes seems too high.
Review 31:Comfortable beds, extremely clean, nice dipping pool.
Review 32:Beautiful place z lively people x loooved it
Review 33:A kind of oasis in Tilcara. Polite staff, car parking, very nice and well heated room, good breakfast.
