Review 1：Didn't have proper air con. There was a fan provided but when we were there it was nearly 40 degrees so it wasn't much help!

Review 2：Really nice modern hotel. Handy location with an Aldi close by! Easy walk to centre of Kaiserslautern and train station is nearby too.

Review 3：It was hot days and there is not Air Condition in the Hotel, so when I opened the window it was street and trains traffice noise very loud.

Review 10：The room that I booked smelled like years of cigarettes had been smoked in there the previous evening. When I mentioned that I had booked a non-smoking room, the receptionist said that this was in fact a non smoking room. Luckily they had another room that didn't smell like a bar but it didn't have the single full bed that I had booked. Once we settled in to the room we discovered that, while the beds were somewhat comfortable, the pillows were paper thin.

Review 12：The room was really "Spartan", missing the obvious facilities offered by 4* hotels. The breakfast was also quite limited. The TV channels were scrambled - no relation to the list aside the TV. The "free parking" is limited (only <4 places) and then everyone has to search in the streets around the hotel - However easy to find a space there...

Review 13：The hotel was clean and comfortable, located in a nice, calm neighborhood, close to the university, but relatively far from the city center. The (apparently) owner was always there to help! The check in and check out process was fast and easy.

Review 14：It really was perfect . Easy access to town, a great nights sleep, welcoming and helpful hostess, tasty breakfast , quiet neighborhood location. Lovely garden.

Review 15：You are charged something like $16 per person for breakfast. One thewebsite it says in the room but you actually have to go downstairs toeat. We thought it was free if you went downstairs instead of havingsent to room. So it it made a good priced hotel, not quite as good.(Still not ridiculously priced like some other hotels I have seen) Theydid our laundry which was great, but be prepared to pay a steep pricefor that. They daid since we paid for some breakfasts that we did noteat they would just swap out for the laundry. Which we thought hey gooddeal right. Wrong we only ate breakfast like 4 or 5 days during our 12day stay. So our laundry ended up costing us somewhere around $200. donot let this stop you from staying at this hotel though because overallit was a wonderful experience and we would stay there again. Just makesure that if you dont plan on being at breakfast that you tell them whenyou check in. And do your laundry yourself unless you dont care how muchyou pay to have it done.

Review 16：When you first pull up to the hotel you are thinking ok this is ahotel?But as soon as you walk in the doors it becomes a veery invitingplace to stay. We were given a room facing the courtyard it was veryquiet. The owners Doris and Herbert were very nice and it seemed likethey were always there. We were expecting our grandchild to be bornwhile we were there and they would ask everyday if he had been born yet.The staff was very friendly and helpful. They would clean our roomanytime of day we asked. They do not have any choice but pizza for roomservice , however, it was fresh and very delicious. Breakfast is verygood and fresh. The train station was just a short walk from the hotel,which was very nice. There were also stores with in walking distance.

Review 18：We loved this hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well designed and modern. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfrey we didn't want to get up. They provide the little touches which make staying delightful - like free toiletries and fruit/chocolate. The breakfast is worth the money and the service is excellent. Well worth a visit.

Review 19：One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! So comfortable and clean and well managed with the friendliest staff. My wife and I didn't want to leave and could even imagine living there. We had a gorgeous room with our own balcony that overlooked a quiet garden. The beds were so comfortable and hot breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station which was very convenient for us. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a room at the back of the hotel looking onto the really pleasant and well-maintained garden The staff were helpful, friendly, and always cheery. The breakfast selection amazingly diverse and of really good quality. If you find you must go to Kaiserslautern -- you must stay in Design Hotel Zollamt.

Review 54：Great Hotel on the outskirts of Kaiserslautern. About 15-20 minute drive to Ramstein, and easy to get to. Owners/Staff are super friendly and very welcoming and accommodating to dogs I brought two, and they loved them. They speak English well also, which is always a plus.

Everyday that I was there and at theend of the day when I came back to the hotel, I was greeted withfriendly smiles and was offering a cup of coffee or tea as I walk in.Staying at the Zollamt hotel make me feel like I am on vacation inGermany not there to attend conference for work. I would highlyrecommended everyone travel to Kaiserslautern, Germany to stay there andenjoy the hotel's beauty and excellent services.

Review 62：Conveniently situated for us, at less than 10 mins easy walk after exiting from the rear of the rail station, and close to but out of the city centre. Staff are fantastically friendly and helpful. Breakfasts very good. Good size rooms, stylish with everything in top condition and very comfortable.
