Review 1：The indoor pool was cold and uncomfortable to swim in! The chef was awful and you could do better, if he was decent we would have eaten at the restaurant, instead of having to out for dinner! What a shame, get yourself someone decent!

Review 2：I enjoyed traveling the Black Forest Road, I enjoyed the staff and best of all Mr. Hoffman's spa with his helpful and excellent staff, Gallina's massages were to die for! I felt like a baby and slept like a log!

Review 6：I booked this at the last minute wanting a romantic midweek getaway in luxury and style and that is exactly what we got. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was excellent. My Girlfriend is vegetarian and the chef was more than happy to adapt the set menu into something very special for her. In the morning we had a fantastic swim in beautiful surroundings and a great breakfast. Would recommend this to anybody who wants to spoil themselves a little (or a lot).

Review 7：Great family room (loved the baby sofas and toy deer head on the wall), lovely restaurants, extremely friendly and professional service and all the amenities you could ask for. We loved the gardens, the pool areas, the kids playroom and eating with our young daughter in the more relaxed pub - book a table here a day or so in advance though as not many tables. A great 4 night stay and will definitely be back!

Review 9：The staff is five star. Both restaurants excellent. Many things typically added to the bill in other hotels were complimentary here. The hotel and wellness center are so large & comprehensive you don't want to leave. Pools, Jacuzzis, saunas, all top notch. Best massage I ever had, Babor facial gold standard. Every morning we woke up we added another night to our stay!

Review 10：The director of the hotel never greeted me personally, the director did not organise anything for guests to meet, no activities organised for guests of the hotel. I would have welcomed some more entertainment in the evenings, some walks organised for guests during the day, some outings The hotel is marveleous, but you have to go as a couple or with a companion or friend

We were also very pleased with how child friendly the staff is. Our son is only eight months old and not always quiet. But we always felt comfortable and welcome by staff and also the other guests! Review 44：The Hotel is situated in the Black Forest in the picturesque village of Hinterzarten near Frieburg. We were staying for 2 nights on our way through europe to Italy. The Hotel has a luxurious feel to it and on arrival the staff were very attentive. Our room was very spacious with a seperate living space. The Hotel had a lovely indoor pool (which was warm) and outdoor jacuzzi and spa facilities. The Hotel has two restuarants, we ate in both and the food was very good. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, serving both continental and hot food. As we were staying for two nights the hotel receptionist explained that we qualified for 'Hochschwarzwald Card', this was a FREE travel card which enabled you to use the trains, trams and some boats for free. We used the card to travel one stop down on the train from Hinterzarten (the train literally comes right into the village centre) to Titisee, which is right on the Lake. Were we took a 20 minute trip around the picturesque Lake and did some souvenier shopping. Then travelling back towards Freiburg on the train, Using the street tram to the centre of Freiburg, which is a lovely medieval town with modern and bespoke shops and interesting architecture. All free with the card! The Hotel also has free parking.
