Review 2：the hotel is very cosy overlooking the river saale. excellent breakfast buffet. friendly staff. very close to town centre and all spa facilities. this was our second stay. we would always come back again.

Review 5：The room was large with a nice balcony but the carpet was the most filthiest carpet that I have ever seen in my many stays in hotels. It made you shiver and feel, yes feel dirty! The car park, with no direct entrance to the hotel. Meaning you have to drag your luggage around three corners. Checking out with one computer terminal in the morning was long and tedious. Nearly missed my appointment.

Review 10：the breakfast buffet is absolutely perfect. a wide choice of different foods, something nice for every taste and desire. i particularly loved the samowar and the choice of teas and the selection of fresh fruit. very nice breakfast room with views over the river. the staff is super friendly and very helpful. the rooms are furnished tastefullly and overlook the river saale. i can highly recommend this hotel. very close to all spa facilities. superb.

Review 32：When we arrived around midnight there was only 1 extra bed in the family room for 2 adults and 3 children (13, 12 and 4). They said there it was booked only for 1 child but my printed email said otherwise. It took an hour to get another bed as the receptionist was only a holiday worker. There was no legal parking space around the hotel, the receptionist gave us permission to block somebody's garage. There was no backdoor from the parking area so we had to carry all the luggage around the hotel block. Swimming pool opened at 9am so we had to check out by 10am and did not have chance even to look at the pool. It looks like this is a hotel only for pensioners and those without car. The floor resonated loudly when walking on. There was no minibar. The so-called garden terrace is very small and all the view is blocked by high walls. There were still signs of refurbishment going on. Hardly 2*.

Review 40：did not like the arrogance of staff, the constant feeling that you are in what is owed them. restaurant waiters is far from professional. too provocatively behave. not respond to requests appropriately. Surprisingly, breakfast each day have become smaller and poorer!

Limited and not free parking, no free wifi but you can use tmobile for some for some crazy amount per hour, also a nice bottle ofwater in your room to welcome us to the city - this was 4 euros. Thinkthey have worked hard to modernise parts of the hotel including aspectsof the rooms, but need to do much more. For example a terrace door thatlocks would be a welcome change.
