Review 1：I was basically yelled at by the front desk for a mistake they made, we stayed in an upgraded room which we were not aware until checked put. The lady at the desk said congrats on your free upgrade and then continued to insult me on issues that were not related to our stay i won't stay or recommend this place again.

Review 5：The Wellness area should not be called Wellness.... It's a "insert-coin-Sauna" without any privacy in the middle of a small work-out fitness station. This Hotel should have something better than that. Eating breakfast at 8.45h is to late, because they ran out of sausages and eggs already

There is a magnetic door key and you could use that handle, our door was hard to shut, but once you got it shut it stayed shut There was a patio setting area outside our door and it is used by all the building tenants so there were people out smoking at night and you could hear them talk, wasn't a fan of that!! Internet connection was not the greatest

Review 15：The quality of rooms we ordered were not all available despite having a credit card guaranteed reservation and a printed confirmation from booking.com that confirmed this. While the staff were pleasant they explained there was nothing they could do (also with the price) although they did offer an upgrade on a next visit (not likely!) The staff indicated this had happened before....
Review 16：We had an evening meal but despite the promising menu, the quality was poor. The asparagus soup was not available and the alternative lobster soup was tasteless apart from a prawn with a bad taste. The steak with chantrelles was ruined by being covered in a strong tasting sauce.

Review 19：It is true that large families have difficulty in finding appropriate accommodations at reasonable costs. My family of 6 were no exception. The hotel was adorable while at the same time happily able to accommodate us all. The room was very spacious and had a ceiling fan so those were a big plus. The breakfast was a buffet-style and only 5 Euro per adult, so my two little ones ate free (6 and under). Our room was located in another building, which required us to ascend a small number of steps through various gardens to reach it. The wifi worked alright enough and the parking was in nearby gravel lots (no fee).

Review 31：The hotel room was typically German as far an amenities, but my room was quite large compared to other places I have stayed in the area. The restaraunt associated with the hotel was amazing...some of the best German food I have ever had! Would definately stay there again.

Review 36：It's a shame such a large room (Junior Suite didn't have a bath). We found the breakfast wasn't amazing. The children were looking forward to German sausages but we were too late to get any and they didn't replace food that they ran out of. Staff didn't even bother telling us this, just said to wait. We didn't appreciate being apart from the main hotel and restaurant. We had to cross a busy and dangerous road.
Review 37：We liked the location, it's very close to the motorway but quiet. The size of our room was amazing, we even had a sofa with armchairs. Very clean.
Review 38：Missing soap! After 2 times notice on the reception - soap was still missing, all three days! Moreover, cleaning girls were unprofessional, did not clean room properly, they are lazy, whole time sitting on sofa and playing with mobiles, their behaviour is unbelievable unpleasant with inappropriate comments regarding guests. To see such horrible workers in Germany hotel was for me a great shock! This time my room was much worse as in my previous stay in this hotel, everything was partly destroyed, carpets in very bad old shape. Personal on the reception was cold, not really pleasant.
Review 39：When I compare with my previous stay in this hotel - opinion is worse, many things changed to worse side, nevertheless, I still like the kitchen, everything is very tasty, people in restaurant are pleasant.

Review 93：From the moment I found myself unable to reverse my car (it has been ages since I have driven a stick shift) and Lutz rescued me, to the entertaining and enthusiastic Ralph, a waiter in the restaurant, the woman in the morning breakfast room who continued to replenish the yummy scrambled eggs and the to-die-for bacon with the most professional and polite demeanor, to the charming, well decorated private room where I was able to share a great German meal with all my American business associates (who were happy to be out of their boring downtown hotel),to the wandering road in the back that allowed me to take long walks to shake off the stress of the working day, and Heidi, an attractive red headed woman who makes you feel part of her Barbarossahof family. Great value, easy access to major roads, friendly, English speaking, excellent tv and amazing chocolate ice cream.

Review 103：This was a bad experience from the start. We arrived to check in andwaited at the desk for someone to show up. I eventually had to walk totheir restaurant were the clerk was found talking to other workersinstead of manning the desk. The room was not clean. The furniture haddirt stains over the entire surface. There was trash left behind fromthe previous guest and dirty clothes left in the closet. There was nohair dryer in the room as stated and when we called the front desk theyquestioned us and couldn't believe a hair dryer was not in the room.After convincing them it was not present, they walked one to us.Breakfast on the second morning of our stay was empty and they still hadtwo to three hours of service left. There was empty trays of meat, eggs,pastries, etc. And the coffee machine was off and we were told was notworking. Finally, when checking out they told us Booking.com made amistake and they tried to charge us more than our reserved price. Theclerk eventually called Booking.com and we paid the reserved price butthis was after at least 30 minutes of discussing a pre-arranged price.There are many better options in the area to stay.
Review 104：Be aware there's no elevator so you may need to hike some stairs. However, my friend let them know she has a bad knee when she reserved a room and hey put her on ground floor so they WILL do their best to accommodate your needs.
