Review 1：The walls are a bit too thin. I could hear the guy sneezing in the next room. Also, Bavarian bells at 7AM.

Review 3：My towel wasn't a bath towel. It was only about 3 feet X 2 feet. Too small.

Review 8：I prefer to stay in hotels that reflect the local culture, belong to a family or local owner, and maintain a distinct character against the corporate monochrome. I have stayed at the Hotel Strauss under various owners in the last 30 years and I found it to be very comfortable and quiet (although there are a couple of bars across the street that stay open late.) The food in the outdoor garden was good, the breakfast generous and the staff very friendly.

Review 9：It was saying it should be free parking available, but when we came -both places were busy. Anyway I parked my car by blocking other two andasked to call to my room when anyone want to drive away. So, I was happywith this solution and therefore it's tiny minus.

Review 10：Very good location, rooms a bit old-fashioned, but bathroom and beds arecompletely ok. Nice one to stay for reasonable price. Wifi is a bittricky to setup, but anyway it was working fine in our family room.

Review 13：The parking was easy! The lift/elevator was a bonus. The location was so near the city center we were able to enjoy the beautiful town. The beds were so very comfortable we overslept (happily). The room was HUGE - we could have danced and not bumped into furniture. The restaurant serves delicious meals, and breakfast was included in our rate. We felt spoiled. We really enjoyed our stay!

Review 14：When we make reservatin it wasnot any moment showen what we have actually to live not in the hotel,but in guesthouse (just 1 min walk fro main building) We where looked forward for stay in such nice hotel,but were placed in another building.May be they have family room only in guest house,but I think guest have to be informed in advanced.Its very small minuse for us because we were only 1 night,but for somebody it may metter.

Review 46：The hotel, although older is very clean and updated nicely. The beds were larger than the ones we experienced in Munich at the Hilton. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us (a 16yr. old teen son included) We all got the best sleep of our trip at this hotel! The restaurant was GREAT! Wait staff and food excellent!

Review 63：A very lovely hotel in the central, just beside the main bus station.The Room for 3 people is big enough and it is very clean. The employeethere are very nice and are always ready for helps.(It takes about 15 to20 Minutes from the train station to the hotel.)

Review 65：It was localized directly in the city close to trauinstation and pedestrian area down town in Hof. I got a nice meal in the restaurant and breakfast was good.

Review 66：Not so much 'didn;t like' but we recommend in-room tea making facilities ie 'Welcome Tray'. For the next refurbishment programme it would be beneficial to change the mattresses for a firmer make. A good strong Assam Tea for Breakfast please and a good quality Orange Marmalade. Not everyone likes DIAT Jam.

Review 67：Friendly and efficient team. We arrived at the hotel at 22.30hrs and welcomed by a friendly member of staff. The evening meal we had on our last night, out of four, was professionally prepared an enjoyable.The wines were of excellent choice and, the young lady who served us who also attended the Front Desk is highly commended! The hotel is certainly excellent value for money, Accommodation, Breakfast and Food. We certainly shall stay at the 'Strauss' again. travels

Review 68：The room didn't have any ventilation , therefore the window had to be left open and the noise from the traffic was a nuisance .

Review 74：Ok hotel with a bit of old "DDR" feeling inside. A bit old and probably in need of some renovation but that also reflects on the price. Parking at another location, need to carry your luggage a bit. It takes you about 20 minutes to reach the Autobahn in rush hours.

Review 76：Parking is off-site across the road, because we had a lot of luggagethat we did not wish to unpack and take to the room and were concernedto park off-site the manager very nicely allowed us to park our caroutside the rear entrance to the hotel/kitchen.
