Review 2：The hotel is situated in wonderfull nature. The kindness of the staff. The kitchen is very fine. The spa very extensive. Helpfull in organization for walking.

Review 3：Just personal opinions:(1) During check-in, I asked if our room has a valley-view, reception answered “yes”. But actually we were assigned a room on the ground floor, and there is road to the parking between our room and the “valley-view”, so in case we wish to sit on the balcony to enjoy the view, we need to bear with sights from various clients in the cars or walking!I didn’t argue to change the room, thought the possible reason of hotel assigned this room: to avoid our baby to disturb other guests? Well, fine.(2) BUT, we were seriously disturbed by noise (music, singing, clap) from group of guests in the Bar until 1AM, and our room is close to the Bar! As it was too late to change a room.I complained to reception next morning, they said they tried to talk to those guests, apparently which didn't work much.(3) We had dinner in the restaurant inside hotel, just ordered the main course, because we planned to leave ASAP to prevent the baby from disturbing others. Then I felt it might be a fault by not ordering more, despite there were so many waiters around (I prefer same waiter for each table honestly), we had to chase one who understood that our request was to get the bill, instead of the “beer", and took action on our request...(4) I can’t criticize the reception or waiters, because the service was good in general, and they all very occupied and trying to help. But just something is missing here for 5-star superior hotel and 300+ EUR/night, maybe a few more senior staff?Finally I didn’t dare to ask where is the microwave to sterilize the baby’s bottles. (which I did multiple times during previous stay in 3-star best western hotel, every time they helped with smile).(5) In the room (junior suit), there is no water boiler (is that normal?

Review 4：(1) Our impression on this hotel had been increasing when driving up the mountain route, seeing the layout of hotel and views, enjoying the welcome drink in the lobby. Then it kept decreasing after moving into the room. (refer to the details in dislike section). (2) The facilities in the hotel: the open parking, the view to the valley, the SPA area, the elevator to the top where you can overlook the black forest & hotel in fantastic view, the walking tracks around the hotel, etc. (except a few details are missing in the room, explained in the dislike point 5) (3) The hotel and its service are good for sure, but just maybe not excellent enough to our expectation on 5-star superior and 300+ EUR/night. (we had better experience in some 4-star hotels) (4) The breakfast is a plus, with no doubt.

Review 5：This is a very German focused business (and why not, it's in Germany) but not to our liking at all. Difficulty understanding anything and the whole focus is traditional German. Many will love this but not to our taste and shortened our 3 day stay to 1.

Review 7：Front desk snotty and slow to respond to requests like a luggage rack in the room. Wait staff in restaurant wasn't always experienced, didn't understand English and tried to hurry us along.

Review 9：We requested a double bed in room but been given a combined of two single beds which split away during our sleep overnight! Disappointed! There was a hidden cost of using two empty wine glasses in room!

Review 11：Nearest city with reasonable facility is 30 minutes driving , no activity for children , need renovation , need air conditioning ( 5 star hotel with no air conditioning !!!!! ) , no coffee maker or at least water heater in the room

Review 12：the food is excellent , staff are very nice although some restaurant waiters can not speak English , stunning mountain views , excellent car parking , pretty good hiking area at location , almost in the heart of black Forrest , was able to visit Baden-Baden and 3 more small cities and plenty of attractions because of the location centricity

Review 13：cleanliness could better the chairs in the bar should be replaced when you look behind the corners you recognize this is the cleanliness only superficial. For 5 stars Superior are some things that need to be changed. I would recommend maybe 4 stars 4 stars plus . Wireless is 20€ this is for 5 star anyway unacceptable
